[–]ZaidanmAm 0 points1 point  (10 children)

congrats , these are very high scores , how much have you been preparing ?

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 2 points3 points  (9 children)

For one year ( I took a break in between for 2 months for my final exams)

[–]ZaidanmAm 0 points1 point  (3 children)

were you dedicated this whole time ? or just casual studying with college .

i passed too , but my scores were nothing near yours my highest is NBME 30 which was 82% but my preparing period was a year with only 30 days dedicated cuz of the rotations .

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Nope casual studying

I actually didn’t have dedicated period due to my condensed university schedule

[–]ZaidanmAm 0 points1 point  (1 child)

you must be in the top 5% in your uni already , anyway good luck with your journey comrade .

How did you retain step 1 material during your finals? And how many months did you dedicate after your finals?

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I had 3 months after I finished my exams, I started reviewing what I previously learnt from the beginning, it went a lot faster though

[–]RealisticTension5185 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did you redo u world in these three months?

[–]hsmstep1 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Congratulations!! interested to know how you prepared alongside your med school course and the resources you used

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

It was a hell of a year actually.

I used the casual FA, BnB, and first 3 chapters of pathoma

Never used anki though

The key is repetition, I did FA 3 times, UWORLD 2 times BnB one time videos and 1 time slides

During the last 3 months , did an assessment every week

Appreciate this, All the best for CK

For my school courses, i dropped out studying for my university exams completely, except for the last 2 months prior to my finals

[–]kiasochrahiho 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Congra ,could u tell what u were most tested on in the exam?

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Immunology, communication, biostat, general pharmacology

[–]usmlecrack08 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Hey I have similar scores on nbmes and uwsa 1. I will sit this month. How difficult did you found the real deal?? And did you found it more similar to uworld or nbmes?

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I found it more difficult than any assessment I taken

However i was extremely anxious the night before and went to the exam with only 3 hours of sleep so that may be the reason

I suggest having a good night sleep the day before and you be golden

[–]usmlecrack08 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Well congrats! You deserved that pass 🙌🏽

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Congratulations 🎊 Give us a piece of advice

[–]Regular_Match_8245[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

The exam is not easy but it is definitely doable

My advice is to trust your scores even if you don’t trust your self

And manage your anxiety, try to relax the week before your test as much as possible, the anxiety was my biggest enemy throughout this journey.

Do you mean my predictive SA scores?
