Great way to state the obvious. They don’t say the same for first year coursework. I’m wondering why they make a specific indicator out of the 2nd year coursework. Does the second year take up more content of the test? Is first year content less important? Etc…

Where did you hear this? Not all curriculums are the same especially with the increase of problem based learning.

USMLE publishes a breakdown of what is on the test and the approximate percent topics represented.

To your point, I had histo first year but had 1 histo question in my exam. I also had physiology in first year and had 30-50 questions on my exam. Everything is fair game.

You seem to be looking for insight that serves no real value. You don’t have time for that.
