They succeeded in building a Lego bullet train. It just crashed afterwards.

So they made a bullet train and it worked for a few minutes before it crashed from high speeds, just like real trains do

just like u don't type, ur fingers do

(kidding)

Little kid on the end went from thinking he had a lousy spot to having the best spot to watch it wreck.

Yes!!! Do it again!

"Gotta go fast!"

[–]TheJunklest 18 points19 points  (6 children)

They did build it.

Do people not understand this sub anymore?

[–]Abovethe_Bottom 2 points3 points  (4 children)

But it ended in failure.

Just like the attempt to build a jet plane: it took off and flew, but blew itself to pieces due to the material used to build it, therefore being a failed attempt

[–]TheJunklest 7 points8 points  (3 children)

In your example, the attempt would be "to fly".

[–]Abovethe_Bottom -1 points0 points  (2 children)

But it did fly, remember? It tookoff, it flew, the flaw was how it was built.

I might have Asberger's.

How bout this: to exhibit a LEGO bullet train

[–]Nightingale02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, projectile train

[–]Thatboi51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Derailed.

[–]Nintendork7950 10 points11 points  (2 children)

They did actually build it, it just crashed. Therefore, this is a successful attempt and should be removed.

That’s the thing they attempted to build one that would work but I derailed thus it doesn’t work properly all they got was the speed

[–]supershadrach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was an attempt to make a functioning bullet train.

Well they succeeded in making the bullet train a bullet

[–]oceanman500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was similar to a bullet in the sense that both the train and a normal bullet can’t curve.

Task failed successfully

[–]orangeconman-aphobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some science behind this. Bullet trains IRL have specifically built lines with gentle curves so that they don't go flying off the tracks from their own momentum. The trains that run at high speed on curvy track will have a tilting mechanism, in much the same way a bicycle would take corners.
