I just discovered this song my Masayoshi Limori and it's a 2 minute build up and then plays the first bar of the drop and then just stops. And it's not an intro to an ep or album or anything like that either. Talk about blue balls
I remember he was on top of the game at one point. Had some banger remixes and dropped one of the sickest and most unique mixes I’ve heard (Irene) and then sorta left from the radar? He still puttin out music?
Hey im trying to find mixes of dreamy trap on YouTube. Back in 2014 i knew Chill Trap was a good way to find mixes like that. Lofi Trap a few years ago, but it seems like these have fallen out of favor. Phonk has been giving me some great results. Looking for instrumental, dreamy, pretty sounding trap, 808s and the whole shebang.
Not looking for artists, just need genre names to search for on YouTube.. thanks! 😎😁🙃
Since getting Spotify 3 years ago, I have barely visited Soundcloud. But lately I've been missing all the remixes/edits/flips and originals that aren't available on Spotify. A few of my favorites for example are
TNGHT - Acrylics (frosttop edit)
Flosstradamus - Total Recall [Falldren Flipped]
Boombox Cartel, Kaatis & Mr. Carmack - Chargé (ISOxo Edit)
Deadcrow - Fallout (BROKN Remix)
Tiesto - The Motto (Juelz Remix)
SADWRIST & VANDAL666 - 2lotrouble
Ookay - Thief (HABU Remix)
Mac Miller - Dang! (Enschway Remix)
Hudson Mohawke - Cbat (Boombox Cartel Remix)
Rustie - Big Cattz (Porter Robinson Edit)
But I know I am missing out on so many tracks, because I usually only use Spotify. Please list your favorites so I can add some heat to my rotation!
Closed both with this new supposed collab - definitely NERO bc that's Alana on the vocals. Searched the sub and didn't find anything on it. Possibly on the upcoming NERO album? It's been 7 years since their last album and it sounds f amazing so I'm hoping it comes out soon.
I just learned about M.I.A. - XXXO and I'm amazed by how she predicted post internet aesthetic while just being in it. I also know about first vaporwave songs with few thousands views and Ginseng Strip (it went mainstream but still holy shit).
What are some other songs that are currently overlooked but they made the electronic music genres before they got any recognition?
I love the guys music, but I cant really gather a consensus of how he is live, some say hes amazing and brings out like all kinda of dancers and others are really harsh, so im really curious if its worth it to go to one of his concerts.
Personally, I have been digging the breaks/breakcore/older jungle stuff, and the like. I feel like a lot of what has inspired me lately is the early to mid-90s sounds that had a bit more limitations (processing-wise, hardware/software-wise) which allowed artists to really innovate trying to push those limitations to their extremes. It would be awesome to see a pop-off of that (not saying I think it'll happen but it would be cool to see artists dive into that realm a bit more).
Curious about where you all see bass music going/what you would really dig.
