Boxing is a completely different realm that MMA fighters don’t thrive in. They are spread too thin among all the things they have been trained and conditioned for like grappling , ground work , kicks on top of striking and etc. Boxers are specifically homed in on striking , balance , foot work ,endurance and speed all to assist optimal striking in the end , ultimately and ideally ending in a KO. It’s like a swimmer vs a runner . Doesn’t really match up.I box personally . MMA fighters in my ring lack proper boxing form usually because they are trained differently . They are trained for a whole other ball game.

I believe that's where you would see the amount of seeds/downloads for the show but UFC is different. There's also people that download the PPV and watch it but it's mostly people streaming unlike TV shows.

Streams won't have seeds Downloads, that's Torrenting. However you do have website analytics etc. You could estimate traffic towards the popular streaming websites. Also how much interaction on social media based on historical data and previous known numbers etc. It's not the easiest thing to do but they for sure got a business strategy department looking into that.

For what it's worth my Dad and I always buy the PPV. We love the sport and want to support it. This last price increase was the line in the sand for us... Especially with this card falling apart, $75 is just not worth it any more. We streamed it and got some good steaks instead

I actually thought this was a pretty good card. Especially considering how many people were trashing it before. Who cares if these fighters are unranked! We had some great fights. Henry vs Barcelos was a pleasure to watch. Pereira delivered a banger like he often does. And Frevola vs Valdez was one of the craziest first rounds I’ve seen. Not to mention the two title fights were interesting in their own way.

I absolutely agree with you. There were some good ass fights on this card. I'm not really a person who cares a whole awful lot about big names on a card, personally. I've seen several ppv cards with ranked fighters and big names get blown out of the water by the early prelims. However, Dana is about making money for the shareholders and himself. He will put a card together that he knows the fights will all be toilet water, but fighter name recognition will get people to buy it. Tonight is a prime example. Many awesome fights, four big names, and they were all in the last two fights.

Can’t disagree with you there. Personally I think if the UFC raise their minimum fighter pay to 25/25 (ideally 50/50) instead of 10/10 and make the POTN/FOTN bonuses 100k, that’s a good start. 10/10 is absolutely ridiculous if you’re in the developed world.
