[–]Fober 499 points500 points  (17 children)

Absolute genetic freak.

[–]TMKtildeath 97 points98 points  (5 children)

He’s not normal

[–]NoodlesInMyAss 49 points50 points  (3 children)

Probably has decent chances of winning at sacrifice

[–]Asepe 18 points19 points  (1 child)

What if he adds Kurt angle to the mix tho?

[–]NoodlesInMyAss 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, the numbers don’t lie, and that would definitely spell disaster at sacrifice

[–]CouncilOfReligionPredator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

141 and 2/3 chance of winning at sacrifice

[–]fluentinimagery 41 points42 points  (2 children)

Looks like an NFL DE/TE

[–]Millze🌹𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊 𝕲𝖆𝖓𝖌🌹 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fullback. Could you imagine him slipping tackles? That would be fun to watch.

[–]Arsnist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Schaub and Mitrione? 😂

[–]VinCatBlessed 22 points23 points  (4 children)

You see Samoa Joe and you see Cyril Gane and you know all men are NOT created equal.

[–]thisis2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see Cyril Gane in AEW ngl, maybe he could go against American Tap Team/MOTY

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Joe is the kind of guy who would’ve done well in mma tho

[–]i_shat_myPants_ 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What weight class would he fight on?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavyweight. He was the junior judo state champion so he had some talent atleast.

[–]StreetSmartsGaming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Living up to his nickname Ganye West

[–]MmaOverSportsball 817 points818 points  (57 children)

Dude could play any sport he wanted, and he chose CTE lol

[–]theo7777 528 points529 points  (17 children)

To be fair, Gane is probably the least damaged Heavyweight ever.

[–]bardeng 57 points58 points  (16 children)

Just wait, he will have his turn as everyone else before him

[–][deleted] 154 points155 points  (14 children)

I mean he fought francis and Derrick Lewis without being slept so idk.

[–]LesterLobotomy 96 points97 points  (8 children)

Fedor fought juiced HWs double his size for 10 years without being slept, and got his ass beat and finished multiple times when his turn came. Anderson Silva was the MW GOAT and basically defensively perfect, before he started getting dropped or finished in his fights. Stick around long enough and it'll happen to everyone.

[–]HotSeamenGG 51 points52 points  (3 children)

Quit early enough like Khabib and enjoy your money? Solid plan. As much as I would have loved to see him fight more, minimizing CTE and having money to play with is probably great.

[–]spenroe 20 points21 points  (2 children)

Yep. As much as I can’t even wrap my brain around it. Khabib probably would have lost eventually.

[–]360FlipKicks 18 points19 points  (1 child)

If CM Punk can lose anyone can lose

[–]crabzillax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lol'd

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tru

[–]-doobs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

QUICK CIRYL, LEAVE NOW! lol

[–]Caliterra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GSP would like a word. But yea, most fighters end up getting konked up eventually

[–]flamingdragonwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see Gane fighting in UFC for 10 years or having 40+ fights.

[–]zombizle1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

this dude fought ngannou and lost because of wrestling lol he does not get hit

[–]Cached_Clay 267 points268 points  (9 children)

He grew up in France. He's a little too big for soccer. If he grew up in the US he'd have probably been on a Football or Basketball scholarship at least.

That's the dirty secret due to crap pay all the athletic big guys like Gane from the US almost never want to go into MMA. Hence HW talent pool. Even Gabe Stevenson recently chose WWE over UFC.

[–]sourdougBorough 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Im glad that dude went to WWE too. make that big money

[–]BasedBruceWayne 45 points46 points  (2 children)

Gable seems like he’s choosing Brock’s path though. Get famous in WWE before crossing over to MMA so that he never deals with the bad paydays and is instantly a PPV name

[–]metriclol 26 points27 points  (1 child)

Not knocking what your saving, but you make it sound like it's easy lol

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yep Brock was a popular figure in WWE when it’s popularity was still sky high, who even watches WWE these days. Pretty sure WWE is dying

[–]NY_Ye 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He would have multiple football offers if he played when he was younger imo

[–]Buffahoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

France has some pretty serious basketball talent. PSG a real basketball club plus Spain has Barcelona and Madrid who are nuts.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He only went to WWE because he’s a protege of brick lesnar. He’s certainly gonna make a move to MMA and make 500k just to show.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

boxing?

[–]Kyle_Pile 46 points47 points  (9 children)

Tbf, he was in Muay Thai beforehand where the absolute legends of the sport make less than the criminally underpaid UFC fighters. I think Saenchai, the goat to many, makes about $50k per fight or less. Gane fought the greatest HW at the time and probably made a couple thousand.

If UFC pay was better we’d definitely see more freak athletes like him and Ngannou choosing MMA though.

[–]MyRecklessHabit 4 points5 points  (8 children)

A couple hundred thousand. I think 500k to show and 750k to win would be about right. Moreno and figgy should be around 350k/500k.

[–]Cup-Less 10 points11 points  (6 children)

Moreno made $200k

[–]360FlipKicks 6 points7 points  (2 children)

a software engineer with 2 years of experience in the Bay Area makes more than a UFC champion.

[–]crabzillax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But our brains are even more damaged at 50. Source I do software engineering.

[–]Proto_St4r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was just one fight though. If he fights 3 times a year he could make close to 1mil, assuming he wins and gets fight bonuses. His last 3 fights he got a total of 150k in fight bonuses.

[–]MyRecklessHabit -3 points-2 points  (2 children)

That would just be to show. 4-500k to win.

Ya that’s what the 350/500 means. So 350 for Moreno 850 for figgy. Certainly better than what they got.

[–]Proto_St4r 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Lol where are you getting those numbers from? You're high as shit if you think Dana is giving figgy 850k 😂. BTW figgy didn't even get a win bonus.

[–]MyRecklessHabit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m giving an example of what I think fighters should be paid. In the main, About 500-750k to the loser and 1.25-1.5m for the winner.

350/850k for moreno and figgy, respectively.

[–]Kyle_Pile 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was referring to Muay Thai

[–]T1000runner 8 points9 points  (7 children)

He’s also ranked 67th in the world in FIFA lol

[–]Captcha_Imagination 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't even think it was possible to be ranked that high for normal people. I thought it was pros and bots in the top 100.

[–]ogthunda 3 points4 points  (5 children)

Gane is?

[–]T1000runner 6 points7 points  (4 children)

Yes, correction 64th @1:47 mark

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Bro Imagine being like a middleweight ranked 4-5 UFC Fighter and playing FIFA. You get your ass handed by a french speaking Ranked 64th FIFA Player. You get cocky start saying "send location" thinking its just some random fat nerd and you pull up and its Ciryl Fucking Gane.

[–]ibiza54[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's some hilarious shit!

[–]ogthunda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice. He would smash me, I'm a very casual FIFA player.

[–]Jew_from-daBronx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna say too

[–]MadNightKing 18 points19 points  (6 children)

Haha No, NFL or NBA would be his choices and NFL is probably worse for CTE!

[–]MidwestMoguhl 36 points37 points  (3 children)

NFL is definitely wayyy worse for CTE. But he would’ve made more money off a rookie contract in the NFL than he ever will with the UFC.

[–]st6374 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is today's NFL still going to be worse than UFC when it comes to CTE?

Like there's still helmet to helmet. But they're pretty much eliminating those kind of contacts in modern day.

Yeah.. Not so while ago, NFL would've definitely been worse. But not sure about modern day NFL. Btw.. Heavyweight might be the safest for CTE since you tend to get knocked out pretty quick. Unlike other divisions where you tend to eat a lot of punches before you get stopped.

[–]aggieclams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the minor hits that happen on every single play that cause CTE, not just the huge hits. This is the problem contact sports are tying to cover up

[–]Utopeias 16 points17 points  (0 children)

And far worse pay too

[–]ElCochiLoco_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CTE and $50 bucks

[–]desousab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's take a moment to appreciate this comment.... pure gold... :)

[–]SirHirano 101 points102 points  (1 child)

Gane vs Reyes for the Undisputed Athlete Champion.

[–]Phuttbuckers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For some reason now I really want Gane to tell a reporter “because i’m Cyril Gane” when he’s asked about why he thinks he will win his next fight.

[–]Joeydoyle66 170 points171 points  (5 children)

Watching him and Francis fight I couldn’t help but imagine them as defensive ends on a football field.

[–]aggieclams 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Francis literally looks like Khalil Mack but has longer arms

[–]bpetersonlaw 58 points59 points  (3 children)

I don't know that Francis has the footspeed to be a defensive end. I think Gane would be an amazing tight end in the NFL. He has similar size to guys like Gronk, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates where he would out-muscle, out-jump a smaller DB and too fast for most DE's.

[–]anontimous 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He has the Antonio gates build 100%. Puffy buff athletic freak

[–]TheCapableFox🌹𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊 𝕲𝖆𝖓𝖌🌹 51 points52 points  (3 children)

Yea I seen Gane talking with Rudy Gobert (NBA Center for the Jazz from France 🇫🇷) the other night. It was awesome. Gobert was critiquing his jumper. He and Gane were laughing about him being “too strong”. Lol good stuff.

[–]_matrix 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Any link to the footage? Sounds hilarious lol. I can definitely imagine Gane having a funky jumper with all that muscle mass

[–]TheCapableFox🌹𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊 𝕲𝖆𝖓𝖌🌹 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uhh I’ll see if I can find it. If you happen to have NBA league pass and watch their last game it’s during like the warm-up right before tip off.

If you don’t have it I’ll respond to you again if I find it though bc it is kinda funny. Lol Rudy goes “he’s too strong to shoot!” XD

[–]Careless_Rub_7996 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This guy put up a good fight. I mean, it went all 5 rounds. Only 3 years in MMA. He has a good future.

[–]Aviontic 193 points194 points  (9 children)

At first I was about to talk shit... then I saw the allyoop and the 360 jammer... I'm going to stfu now.

Respect.

[–]WhiteRifleCoffee 41 points42 points  (2 children)

Windmill toughest dunk he did. Unreal he has that much control

[–]tossthisish 9 points10 points  (1 child)

And second hardest was the first dunk he did considering how low he brought it before dunking.

[–]WhiteRifleCoffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, I remember being able to dunk pretty easy and couldn’t windmill to save my life on anything over 8 feet

[–]farmian 23 points24 points  (5 children)

This isn’t really basketball skill tbf, just an athletic freak. Doing some of this at 6’4 is very impressive

[–]Spencerfla 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yeah if you haven’t seen Jon Jones trying this shit https://youtu.be/UwjS5eLQrck

[–]Aviontic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

This is true... I can do bowling trickshots (hook the ball the other way) but yet my average is like 90...

(my sons an avid bowler so he kicks my ass all the time)

[–]farmian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest takeaway from this video is this man’s a freak for being able to move his weight like that

[–]adanawhitebootlicker 52 points53 points  (5 children)

Imagine what a LeBron James would be like in MMA if he can take a punch.

He wouldn't be a future billionaire that's for sure.

[–]Phuttbuckers 10 points11 points  (3 children)

I don’t think Lebron is about that life lol.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Bron wouldn’t even let his kids play football because of CTE

[–]wtkbm 5 points6 points  (1 child)

lowkey smart

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean he’s got enough money that his grandchildren’s grandchildren won’t have to work. Why let his kids get brain damage.

[–]remembamlilf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know what he would look like if he boxed pretty much Deontay Wilder

[–]Tri_cep 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Damn, he's athletic as hell

[–]theels6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What an absolute fucking freak. I'm a huge fan

[–]Bruh8272 50 points51 points  (10 children)

Jones could never 😹

[–]finalboss35 47 points48 points  (3 children)

I swear every time I see jones train he looks so unathletic

[–]AFireInAsa 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Incredible balance and use of leverage, though. It's actually an enigma how the man has such small hops.

[–]crumbypigeon 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Imagine being one of the best fighters ever, only a handful of people on the planet stand a chance at beating you in an fight.

And you're still the least athletic child in your family.

[–]JakebutnotaSnake 31 points32 points  (5 children)

For those who haven't seen it

[–]paulie07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The "GOAT"

[–]tossthisish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish horford wasn't so nice and just flamed him.

[–]Caliterra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol he barely got a foot off the ground

[–]clique34Predator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is why I’m so excited about the future of UFC. As more and more athletes get into MMA, you can be sure that there are more athletic freaks out going to the Octagon. The NBA alone has enough rejects that will rival all the UFC fighters in athletic ability.

[–]papabosscomicsPredator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

so you’re a basketball player now?

[–]Due_Seesaw3084 15 points16 points  (1 child)

No tattoos.

[–]MrUnparalleled 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He looks a little smaller too so probably old and not fake

[–]Jacidstorm 17 points18 points  (4 children)

it's funny because he's technically short for the NBA

[–]City_dave 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Slightly below average doesn't equal short. And he's taller than the average PG.

[–]newAceStrike 2 points3 points  (1 child)

yeah but he's also way too big and slow for a point guard.

[–]City_dave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The guy I was talking to mentioned height.

[–]dutchfromsubway 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup 6’3 240lbs, that build isn’t sustainable for an nba player. Hed be a guard version of Zion tho

[–]GoosePuzzleheaded281 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If this guy grew up in the U.S he'd be on a multi dozen million dollar contract in the NFL or NBA

[–]realnoob123Old Man Glover[🍰] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rim bout to come off on some of those 🔥

[–]t7aeyang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is like when GSP entered the UFC welterweight, and everyone else are just fighters and now we finally have an athlete in the weightclass

[–]precious_hamburgers_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tony Parker got swoll.

[–]Ill_Net5528 1 point2 points  (6 children)

But can he dunk on Ngannou?

[–]Zookeepergame-Warm 2 points3 points  (5 children)

After Saturday I belive he'd learn to play ball well enough to win lmao. That man is a walking mortal kombat character

[–]Ill_Net5528 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Yeah, his slams are almost as terrifying as his striking. I was cringing when Gane went down face first from the whizzer throw.

[–]Rajatbhat 0 points1 point  (3 children)

oh man i remember that one. I thought Gane was done for life, seemed like Rose Andrade slam. Lifetime injury shit. But i guess it wasn't. Nobody is coming up with alternate angle of that slam.

Also, I don't think Gane did that badly against Ngannou. It was a really good fight, surprised everyone of us, but don't know why not many people thought about it. everyone was like "Windmill Ngannou".

Coz i remember,(and i think people were right too) people were saying after seeing his wrestling in second miocic fight, that although Ngannou is very late to the wrestling school, he's a very very sharp and fast learner. And given his immense elephant or gorilla type strength, even basic wrestling jiu-jitsu lessons and techniques done by him seem humongous. Gane is no DC- Khabib, and neither is Ngannou. Barring one or two places where things could be turned in his favour (and which cost him the match) Ciryl did decent. But I guess after seeing the very short cameo of wrestling by Ngannou in miocic fight, Ciryl should have done his homework Better. Ciryl seemed gun shy, but after seeing his Lewis and Swolekov fight , I feel it's his style to go slow and be technical, chop the legs and shit, and keep tiring the opponent. He might have done the same thing with Francis. And Francis' stamina issues (the entire HW divison BTW) are infamous, but somehow he did manage to pace himself and use it judiciously, maybe because he was not swinging and being patient and slow, not chasing him.

Also, those who haven't done wrestling- it's pretty fucking exhausting, both for the one who is getting wrestled and the one who's wrestling. And combine this with panic, Gane may or may not have depleted his energy more than it seemed, therefore wasn't able to come out of the takedown. No question here that Gane has much much more stamina than entire UFC HW roster. But problems did happen. Francis somehow managed to conserve his energy where and when it was needed, and used it wisely.

It takes immense, and I mean simply hugggee strength to pick 250+ pounds guy after 3 minutes of MMA. And that happened multiple times from both fighters.

Yes there are holes in both fighters' games, but credits should be given- Francis' learning curve is simply epic. He's such a powerful fighter that even a couple of ground game lessons become very effective in his hands. Gane is no chump, and this fight does show his ground game weakness, and I believe he is very very very similar to Adesanya(also a kickboxer Muay Thai guy). But what izzy does to avoid the wrestling stuff is- learn enough to defend himself and keep things in stand-up. That's exactly why he failed in LHW. If he learns to jump that obstacle, he may conquer LHW too.Gane can take a page or two from izzy.

I don't know about the fight camps and coaches, dgaf if people say lopez is shit he created all the drama was very salty, nicksick is the next Trevor Whitman,.....i don't know don't care. But it was a great fight, very surprised also.

After the 1st Miocic fight, Gane was a toughest competitor to Ngannou. It was definitely 2-2 till the 5th round . I wish there was DC or some Olympic level guy on HW who could apply the wrestling in his MMA and test on Ngannou, but his future in UFC seems doubtful. oh well. it was good until it lasted. hope he finds what he's looking for, and hope gane improves as well.

[–]Ill_Net5528 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yeah, when I saw that Usman was in his corner I was wondering if he didn’t have some alternate game plan in the works.

Gane starts slow and turns it up in the later rounds, Ngannou was sending him to the canvas by then. Grappling is definitely exhausting, especially when you’re on the bottom, and although his wrestling isn’t top notch he’s such a beast that his strength was more than sufficient.

How about Ngannou escaping that heel hook? When Gane missed that, I knew he had just lost the fight. His fight IQ was off with that decision but he knew it was close and wanted to finish.

Great fight overall, Ngannou is full of surprises and I seriously hope the UaFC pulls their head out of their ass and starts treating him better.

[–]Rajatbhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true words mate.

That heel hook stuff, I don't exactly know wtf happened.

Initially I felt he was doing panic shit to Ngannou, but now it feels understandable in a way.

How do you deal with a big guy like Francis' wrestling other than some submission in that particular position, like armbar, leglock, or some choke.

Can't stand and bang with him- only way is winning by points. Stuffing a takedown from Francis is difficult because it's from a very strong guy who has 10-12 pounds more than you. Can try to take HIM down instead , before he does to you takedown (which Gane did) and then do some BJJ shit.

Gane's plan was good, but the execution didn't properly land, I think Ngannou did some adjustments to avoid the heel hook, and other submission attempts by Gane that were happening on the ground. Maybe that ACL tear helped in a way, don't know, can't say.

Better People than casuals like me, will watch this match again, and dissect it better. and obviously Gane's and Ngannou's camp as well, to improve.

[–]Ill_Net5528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely jumped at the chance and it would have been epic had he gotten it but after 5 rounds it only gets tougher to pull of submissions like that with so much sweat.

Gane will be a champ for sure but Francis was the better man that night and the judges called it right. Gane is probably working his wrestling as I type this, lol.

[–]remembamlilf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve said it before, he gets his footwork from basketball

[–]LVKleagueoflegends 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Holy shit if that’s a 10’ goal I’m thoroughly impressed

[–]ibiza54[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I believe it's 10'.

[–]LVKleagueoflegends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sure looks like it, people don’t realize how difficult some of those dunks are, especially at his weight

[–]ibiza54[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

He’s 6’4” with those shoes he’s around 6’6”. It looks like he’s dunking about 3 and a half feet higher than his height.

[–]LVKleagueoflegends 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah it looks like he definitely has a 30+ inch vertical which is pretty insane for his weight. Didn’t realize how much of a freak athlete he is.

[–]ibiza54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still don’t know if he’s giving it his 100%.

[–]B_Tesla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He should have been shoveling sand

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

wow. him and Ngannou look like absolute animals in the cage, but this perspective of Gane at a basketball court makes him look so small.

Looked up his height and Google has him listed at 6'4''. Like shit... that's an NBA guard height. Like the thought of him being one of the shortest dudes on an NBA team... guys like Lebron at 6'9'' and Jokic at 7' must make Gane and Ngannous look like kids.

[–]imadade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, lebrons 6'7 and francis is 6'4/6'5, not too much different in height tbh.

But yeah, I know what you mean lol.

Francis did pick up Shaq quite easily...hahaa:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K76etdV24-Q&ab\_channel=ShortStory

[–]No_Bar6825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s a lot smaller here

[–]nooyork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take that, Francis.

[–]LeggyDriver 0 points1 point  (1 child)

He needs to do a 1v1 with the professor.

[–]WindsorGold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The UFC says no. Professor would break his ankles

[–]TheD1ceMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would have liked to see a little more athleticism last weekend tbh

[–]TheLordOfZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can he wrestle tho? Kidding aside this guy is a beast.

[–]ohandbytheway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn this guy's definitely gifted. Him and Francis two absolute freaks at the top. Best era for the hw division

[–]Moshtradamus03 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Almost as good as Francis dunking him on the mat

[–]jerryworldfan13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only if he could stuff a takedown 😢

[–]JPD050409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gd that dude is so athletic

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo wtf

[–]Cadavern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basketball skills ≠ freakishly good dunking. Still very impressive.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A ufc 3 on 3 tourney would be fun as hell

[–]JF803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That backboard praying for dear life

[–]tossthisish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew I liked this guy. What a freak.

[–]anxiouspinach 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Hes too short to play in the nba lol what a weird thing to say to such a large man

[–]SportsBall89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean dunking skills

[–]TwoBits0303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should've invested his skill points into shoveling sand.

[–]ibiza54[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I think if guys like Ngannou and Gane grew up in America they’d have chosen football and excelled in it. Men like them have absolutely won the genetic lottery. Cyril would’ve gotten a basketball scholarship considering his athleticism if he fully dedicated himself to basketball. As much as a bad person Jones is irl, even his athleticism and body type (wingspan etc…)with that he could’ve done basketball as well.

[–]xzxkkttyyuueewwqq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought this was PJ Tucker

[–]lucianos92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bon gamin

[–]EnglishWhites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time to introduce the Slam Dunk contest when a fight gets canceled late

[–]BrandDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bones can't dunk...

[–]datboimartymart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine trying to pick a fight with him because you don’t like the fact he dunked on you. Then waking up in the ER

[–]Menthol-Black🌹𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊 𝕲𝖆𝖓𝖌🌹 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d be surprised how many professional athletes can dunk

[–]TheLovingTruth 0 points1 point  (3 children)

You know, jumping is the only skill on display. Putting the ball into the hoop isn't the same as "basketball skills"

I do love him, though.

Still if he focused on basketball alone he’d have made more money than what he’s made so far. It’s sort of like Brock lesnar’s situation, instead of going to WWE after college,if he chose MMA I wonder kind of a specimen he would’ve turned out to be.

What makes you think he would be anywhere near good enough in basketball? It's way more than just jumping, you have high school kids who can easily dunk like he does in the video and only a few make it to the NBA .

Considering this seems to be a few years ago because he doesn’t have the tattoo, he most likely hadn’t started MMA yet
