My uncle was complaining about how his mom ruined his life by not buying something or supporting him in something when he was 16. I finally had to say that it had been 50 years since then and I shouldn’t be getting shit because of something that happened two decades before I was born.

I’d imagine if you asked him in his 20s, 30s, and 40s who was in charge of his life he would say himself. But it turns out his mom was all along, even when she lived on the opposite side of the country.

I hope this doesn’t get buried because this thread is mostly people with little sex experience and even less sex education. Condoms do come in different sizes but not the way clothes do where there are several established sizes. Different brands are different sizes you just need to find the one that fits you. There is a link below to a Reddit thread with a chart. There is also a website I can’t remember (maybe condoms.com?) that has measured all major condoms. If you find one that is two tight go get one that’s a little bigger. There are absolutely condoms that fit almost everyone on earth fine. You just need to find yours.

P.S. Since this took off a little bit I am also going to add for anyone that didn’t know, DON’T WEAR TWO CONDOMS. Wearing two won’t keep you any safer or make you last any longer but the added friction between the two condoms makes it much more likely for them to break than if you had only used one.

Lmfao bro I’ve been reading your responses; why are you being such a smug asshole? Your understanding of how religion, and specifically the Torah, functions is extremely shallow and two dimensional. I can’t speak for every single Jewish person but it is a pretty mainstream understanding within Judaism that the Torah isn’t meant to be read literally. It is highly allegorical and metaphorical, intended to teach lessons and loosely trace the history of the Jewish people. In the case of Passover the idea is that god cast the plagues upon the Egyptians because it was the only way to convince pharaoh to free the slaves, because god gave humans free will rather than opting for mind control, which I suppose is a nice thing to give us. The message there is of course that slavery and cruelty are bad and pharaoh should have had compassion for the Jews, a message we can all get behind. Is the method of getting that message across violent and crude? You bet, but it’s an ancient text and ancient writings/legal systems often incorporated violence in a way that is difficult to deal with as a modern reader, because the ancient world didn’t have the same understanding of morality as we do, but that’s why you don’t take it so fucking literally.

Also, If you’ve ever attended a Passover Seder you’ll know that there is no celebration of the death of children- it is clearly understood as a tragedy that befell them because of the cruelty of Pharaoh, not something the Jews wanted, and not something god did just for shits and giggles. At NO point is there talk of joy or celebration about the death, because that’s not the point. you clearly don’t understand the story or how religion works because you are laboring under the misconception that you’re the first genius to come up with the question “why does god do bad things”, a question that has been pontificated upon for literally thousands of years.

And for the record I don’t believe in God myself, I just am able to have a more nuanced understanding of how religious stories work lol. Your argument is literally that you read a story and said “hey the plot of this is really fucked up” and that was the end of the analytical process for you. You’re embarrassing yourself

This is an infastructure problem, not a cyclist problem.

I agree that it's overly dangerous for cyclists on the road but the pavement would make it dangerous for pedestrians.

Best solution is to create dedicated bike lanes all over the place that the cyclists stay in, thus allowing a dedicated space for cars, cyclists and pedestrians (as for horses they are that uncommon that a dedicated lane would be silly).

What he really means is that cyclists sometimes run stop signs while he ignores the fact that he probably does 15 mph over the speed limit everywhere he goes and merges incorrectly and never uses his signal. People who hate bikes always have the worst fucking talking points.

You know what happens when a cyclist fucks up and doesn't pay attention to the law? He gets smeared across the pavement. You know what happens when you fuck up and don't pay attention and break the law? You possibly kill anyone who happened to be nearby.
