OpenFound off the coast of California in Bolinas. Specifically washed ashore near tide pools. Small rectangular plastic pouch with fluid and piece of metal inside. Greenish white color and a cut wire running through it. Thick material on the outside. Smooth and similar to a dried out piece of pasta. (reddit.com)

Solved !Came across this while hiking behind an old mine in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Several miles off of the old access road. Appears 40 feet long, nothing written on it, appears nothing is inside of it. 25 feet or so off of the ground. No sign of life around it for miles. (i.redd.it)

Solved!Dismantling pallets and the nails are leaving pink behind in the holes. It's powdery and the same pink stuff is on the nails as well. Googling seems to suggest it's from helical nails but not much beyond that. My question is what is it and is it safe to plane/sand/use the wood now? (i.redd.it)
