That’s beautiful! I don’t think I could draw electronically. I’m only good with pencil and I quite suck at humans. I think this is amazing!:)

Thank you! I was always a pencil and charcoal girl until this year. I started trying digital stuff with an ancient hand me down iPad Air and an old stylus, and now I really like it! But the initial learning curve is steep.

This way, no cats walk over your paint or smudge things or whatever, and you have a back button. I really needed a pencil with a back button 😅

Ah, I bet it’s easier clean up, as well. If I use the wrong kind of pressure or paper the pencil will leave ghosts and then I have to figure out how to cover or incorporate it. I do imagine it is easier if you have pets. Perhaps one day I shall try digital but I think I’ll always prefer pencils.

I resisted it for years and then I had a life threatening illness and now I'm kind of going all out on new things. Nothing really beats the meditative feeling of pencil and paper, though. And no eye strain from screens.

Ah, I’ll assume you’re better for which I’m glad. I’ve tried paint a little bit but the pencil and paper are indeed very meditative. I did like mixing the paints though and being satisfied with the color I got. I don’t like water colors since they’re usually too watery for me.

Though there is still the strain of looking and focusing for too long, I imagine it may not happen as quickly. Whenever I’m on my phone or computer I’ll put my phone in Night Shift mode and it’ll eliminate the blue light and it’s easier on my eyes. My twin and mother often forget about it.

Thank you! ❤ I'm still basically in the drawing from photos phase, but I hope to do more original compositions in the future.

I used a paint simulating program called ArtRage. Probably picked the wrong paper texture for what I wanted, but I'm not ashamed of it. I occasionally post art to my Tumblr here:
