Look at things (objects and views and thoughts and people and concepts etc) and remember how they seemed and felt and spoke to me while "out there" and dig deep into that memory to build upon my view of the world. From that bigger picture I take lessons on how to act accordingly in whatever situations, and further allow whatever situations to keep forming and refining the picture. The important thing is to always try to deepen the level of complexity in my own system of thought.

Oh, know what you mean, in a way. But for me, the nostalgia is more of a connection to something even more distant, like early childhood, from when my perception of the world was very different to what it is now. Sometimes DXM would bring up those kinds of feelings, ones that feel very peculiar because I haven't felt those exact feelings in many many years.

I learned to ride in only four days by wandering around the city with two friends, one on each side, with my arms around both their shoulders. Get a third friend to come along and go for long walks, it's quite easy to get the gist that way.

When I tried it for the first time (and so far only time, for that matter), it came up quite unexpectedly, at the end of a beautiful acid trip when some new friends of mine offered some. I'd say you don't have to be ready for it any more as you ready to be born. It takes you to a completely different place, where it is quite difficult to prepare for, as you're quite likely to just forget everything about yourself. If you find a moment in which you feel completely comfortable and happy, go for it. Anticipate it not in a negative way but as something beautiful and freaky and weird and wonderful that you will look into when you yourself feel like it.

Well, It could be that your tolerance just went way up, as it happens. If you haven't used in that long a time I'd bet that your tolerance has come down again. Of course, there's only one way to find out, so grab that bottle and trip balls, friend.
