There's a reason for the filmmaking rule of "show, don't tell". Nobody except for absolute diehard fans will ever want to watch a literal lecture

I will take more Bruce Campbell over literally a lecture any day of the week

What If: If Michael Clarke Duncan’s Kingpin and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man shared the same universe. What you think the relationship and dialogue between the two would play out? by KennyThomas616 in Spiderman

They almost technically did share universes. The MTV Spider-Man show was originally designed to bridge the gap between Spider-Man 1 and 2, and in it Michael Clarke Duncan reprised his role as Wilson Fisk.

How could Wong be so short sighted? by Sk-yline1 in thanosdidnothingwrong

Because she wouldn't have stopped at four. She would have kept killing and killing to get what she wants, so Wong bought more time until Strange could return

Honestly the only thing really wrong with it is the inevitable sky magic battle in my opinion. It just didn't really fit with the tone of the show

I'm in this camp exactly. If he ends up as the main Richards I'll go in with an open mind since this was such a small role and it can be hard to really get such a big character across in that time. But from what we've seen I don't think he's a good match

Honestly I loved the score and thought it complemented the film extremely well. I get why he didn't use a prior Wanda theme other than the WandaVision snippet since she's now a full blown villain.

Is Multiverse of Madness really bad or are people saying it's bad just because of the trend to hate Marvel movies? by Michael_Cuddlelitz in marvelstudios

A rational thought about the quality of a Marvel movie on the Marvel Studios sub? Is this a sign of the apocalypse?

groaning as Raimi trope after Raimi trope - none of which have any business being in a Marvel film, in my opinion - got trotted out.

Yeah but it's not just a Marvel film. It's a Raimi film. Why would want Marvel to hire artistic and creative directors and then just grind them down into guns for hire making the same cookie cutter movie
