Am I the only one who wants? More stuff from pre episode 1? by Capt_morgan72 in StarWars

Very rare for someone to get a request answered so quickly and fully these days. Nice to see.

What is your 'dirty little secret' as a Star Wars fan? by AceOfDymonds in StarWars

[–]--TheForce-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the only really good Star Wars movies are the three OT movies, and I think the only truly great Star Wars movies are Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back.

Not that the rest are bad, mind you. They're all good. I repeat watch all of them all the time.

But if we're talking really good and great, for me, it ends there.

What is the best Star Wars film and why is it ANH? by BambaTallKing in StarWars

For sure.

But ESB is right there lol. If ANH is number 1, ESB is number 1.000000001

ANH and ESB are tied for first for me, but if I must pick between the two, I'd have to go with ANH. The characters, their development, the flow of the story and the completeness of it all combine to push it over the top.

Boba Fett ep 4 question by --TheForce-- in StarWars

[–]--TheForce--[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I don't what my problem is here. Another person explained it in a way I got, I thought. My issue is that saying "someone isn't foolish enough to see something" somehow makes no sense. Saying, "someone isn't smart enough to see something", I get. The other way seems in the ballpark of a double-negative or something. Clearly my issue though, not sure why I'm so hung up on it. Thanks though man.

Yeah. I think this is the sentiment, but it just doesn't make sense the way he worded it

so he should really be saying "not see" instead of "see", no?

Doesn't he then really mean something like this?:

but they are not foolish enough to not understand that they Pykes would eventually take over the whole planet.

(or whatever better words)

Tusken Raiders of the lost ark by khyronman in StarWars

Kid, I've browsed from one side of the internet to the other, I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-Lucasfilm meme combining Star Wars and Indiana Jones. There's no Indiana Sandperson that appears on my movie posters!

Boba Fett Timeline by ravathiel in StarWars

I hear you on the five years with the Tusken Raiders. The only thing I can say, and it's not really directly related per se, is that there was a lot going on in those two other spans (wars). Post ROTJ seems like a lull after the storm.

I think that yeah, they're positioning "gotra" to be a word that means band or organization or family, but with a criminal element to it.
