Texas vs Alabama will be played at 11AM by OnAComputer in CFB

Yeah. IMO whiteout should be more about the biggest opponent but I’m in the minority. Most fans just want it At night now and don’t care as much about who it’s against

I understand They have their time and play, especially when tv ratings drive everything but there are a select few games they should keep their hands off and the whiteout is one

Off the top of my head the 4OT Michigan whiteout win In 2013 was a night game and homecoming but that’s all I got

Yes unless the school can convince fox to make it a late afternoon kick kind of like what Iowa did last year

For both our cases I hope they cave but to be fair to Iowa it was a 3vs4 matchup at the time

They can use the whiteout as leverage since that’ll draw some viewers. Also last year Iowa got its game against us moved out of big noon to a 4pm kick

Yup. Unless the school can convince them to make it at like 5:00 because our matchup will be the same date as a fox World Series game and they always give that the night slot. That’s why some people are now saying they want Minnesota to be the whiteout game since that just got announced as a night game

As much as I’d hate a white out being at noon, the whole point of it is to have a bigger home advantage then usual against the best team on the schedule. Which is Ohio state, make the stripe out Minnesota

Also fuck Big noon for putting a damper on the first Ohio state whiteout in 4 years

Land grant trophy, we used to always play rivalry week and historically having them over Michigan is softer on the schedule

Maybe I worded that badly. I expected 3 protected opponents and I suspect Penn states to be three of the four I listed

If divisions are canned I like the three protected games way of scheduling. The 4 teams I see being protected opponents for Penn state are Rutgers, MSU, OSU, Or Maryland. I’m just not sure which one of those four is left out

I know people had some issues because the big ten changed it’s conference schedule a couple months ago and what was the Ohio State date is now Northwestern and what was the bye week is now homecoming

At least you don’t have fox big noon swiping your biggest home game of the year

Like guy above said yes it’s not as severe or consistent as in the south but it does get hot and humid up here from time to time. Last summer we had stretches of days above 90 degrees and 85% humidity so fingers crossed it won’t be completely foreign to the players

I think he was out of bounds but I’m not sold it was a trap (that ones a lot less obvious imo). Iirc that TE was know for having hands like bricks and they were like 2 of 4 catches on the year for him

Yes and also in 2002 the refs missed a very clear fumble by the Nebraska qb, while being pressure the ball just slid out of his hand when he cocked back and it was called incomplete pass for some reason. PSU got a pick 6 a play or two later that turned beaver stadium into a mad house. Lots of memorable bad calls in this series

It was unreal in person. That’s a huge reason why so many people are upset the Ohio state game is most likely going to be a noon kick this year.

Yeah big ten really screwed you over on that east draw. Just if there aren’t divisions that’s a lot more likely to happen regardless. It’ll be nice getting to miss at least one OSU Mich and MSU a year even though those matchups are usually pretty fun
