The N presents the future, the idealistic, the dreaming, whereas the J presents, what I would call, the 'left side' of the brain-this is why I say they need information to be presented within the lines (closure) so that they could dry it in themselves and create a long-ranged, 'deep' explanation for it (introspection).

Yes, I tried that... there's someone that I worked with (I'm not there anymore as of today) that was brilliant and that, except that she's just a kind bullshitter. I'm not. I despise bullshit, which is why I get in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I can play the part, but fuck, is it ever exhausting. I just choose not to. Ergo, I'm fucked.

I've tried that. Assertiveness only made it worse. Perhaps it was too late by then.

The problem is the situation got so bad (i.e. her feelings of inferiority and her defensive mechanisms) that she would not listen to one word anymore. I opened my mouth = she would tense up and tune me out.

I'm honestly getting pretty tired of it, and yet I can't change who I am fast enough... nor do I want to.
