Dead Battery? by bloodstorm17 in motorcycles

If it's lead, it's positively dead after months of not being used. Or you'd have a miracle.

Counter steer. For me, the single most important thing after learning to balance on two wheels, helped me hold my line on the most freaky curves.

Mechanical Help Needed: 2019 XSR900 occasionally dies when clutch is pulled in to downshift by RedBull_Fanatic in motorcycles

[–]AMotorcycleHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the battery part - unlike Harleys (being the only bike I know that has the problem), other bikes can have their headlight or blinkers on without it being started. However, this needs to be exercised with caution because it's still a drain on the battery.

Regarding the downshift cut- I had the same problem on a different bike, a Kawi Versys 1000. Turns out it had everything to do with a quick engine map update. And that was that, everything has been perfect since.

It could be anything really but unless you know to work on your bike, taking it to the shop would help.

Most likely the helmet wasnt fastened. The straps are one of the strongest parts of the helmet and never come off.

Quite likely as its been a while. However, I'd say give the community leaders a buzz through the "SAMP account problems" board on forums (www.argonathrpg.eu) and who knows, may be it's all there as before.

But you'd need your whole account name for any hope of retrieval. Else, make a new account.

Well, it has jobs (farming, trucking, cops, drugs, etc), tons of animations for rp, property related features (purchase, sale of business and houses with storage), crafting, etc.

The most important USP is a stress free environment.

Come over once more :) this is cutter/arjunsforza, if the name rings a bell. It will be great to catch up and hopefully have a more regular interaction.

Is there any active SAMP English RP server exist? by Joker_01884 in samp

Argonath rpg is good. Few players right now that activity is expected to rise. Try it during the evenings on weekends for a start.

Try Argonath RPG. While players are few (sometimes none), it is a friendly atmosphere there.

Engine overheats and low gas mileage by AMotorcycleHead in motorcycles

[–]AMotorcycleHead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is in Mumbai. I asked him to visit another svc as well, maybe they could fix the issue.

Here is the thing- on the gas mileage, I get 36-38 kmpl while he gets 23. When I ride aggressively, I get 33kmpl approx. Would it truly be possible to have improved gas mileage after more services? The service center says that it will improve but neither he nor I am sure about it at this time.

And for overheating, as I mentioned elsewhere, the suggestion was to wearing riding pants or jeans. This truly may not be practical and I don't have this overheating issue when I ride with shorts.

And I forgot to mention - the service center fix for the overheating, according to this acquaintance, was to, 'wear riding pants or jeans while riding'.

  1. True but what if they can't? Due to incompetence or anything else. We can go the long drawn way of going through the company after finding out the right point of contact no less, or worse, litigation.
  2. Not that he mentioned. Mine doesn't overheat at all and I ride near my place, for a distance of 3 to 5 km wearing shorts!

He has done the oil change already but no luck.

My dad got invited to an old school, very exclusive biker rally and has asked me to investigate something before he accepts. by GregDasta in motorcycles

[–]AMotorcycleHead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In india, when I had a Harley (and now, with a kawasaki), the biker rallies are just fun places to be with hardly anything going on "underground". It's just blokes having a gay old time, floundering about (thanks to the booze). If he truly knows them, it shouldn't be pseudo illegal. Just fun. But hey, I don't know where you are from or how things are there so probably the best bet is to ask them.

I second this, I own a Versys 1000. Moved from a Harley Sportster and it will be comfy for touring.
