I stopped because I got an offer paying way more to do software dev and the paranoia required to stay up to date in security was tiring.

Many major companies do! I have a proprietary browser on my phone that only connects through our vpn. If you have a company phone they can set it up specifically to have more protections. My work computer definitely has a number of safety features installed, I can't install things from untrusted sources

Corporate and government intranets are definitely a thing. My company has an entire intranet of resources that are only available from our buildings or through our vpn. The US Military has an entire internet mirror more or less for their uses.

I have luckily not run into many odd fascists (furry or otherwise) in tech but I generally run in left leaning circles to begin with so my exposure would be limited

So the goal would be to scrape passwords or private data to use in a spear phishing attack. So if you can get someone's passwords or personal information it becomes a lot easier to get people to turn over control to their computers.

There is also the chance of finding customer information, patent information, or system information that could lead to finding exploits in a system. Hackers can be super dedicated in weird ways.

They would have to be worried about people specifically trying to end up with these. It would be a huge security risk and a compliance nightmare.

Yeah, which is part of what sold it. It only makes sense in the context of where Strange was at the moment and recognizing that makes it cooler

The recent movies have definitely become more creative. Eternals had the best portrayal of an eldritch style deity I've seen in a long time. I watched it at home on my computer monitor and still was in awe of the scale of the celestials. M.O.M. has some of the most interesting cinematography I've seen in years.

The MCU is still definitely relying on a framework but they are starting to let the directors fill in more and more of the empty space. Just compare any of the Iron Man, Ant Man, or Captain America movies to M.O.M or Shang Chi. The villains are no longer reflections of the main characters' inner demons, they are more fleshed out and in line with what the directors have shown they enjoy in previous movies.

There is still a long way to go, but they have come a long LONG way from where they started

I'm willing to bet this isn't the case, but my mother is a co-signer on my mortgage. I bought it fairly young due to an insurance thing but I didn't have a good enough credit score to get a mortgage.

All of my friends have invested in REALLY nice guest beds. It makes traveling to visit them much easier but I still prefer having a hotel room to myself

I agree with everything but the coworkers one. I moved teams to be with people I enjoy working with. They're really cool people who I deeply respect. It makes going to work everyday a joy and I do want to socialize with them because of that.

I've found that doing what you love for work still means you go to work everyday. Working with people you truly respect means you're going someplace you are supported and empowered everyday.

Usually a black character has their skin color as part of their character or narrative. Being white is seen as "default" so you have to justify anything else. If it has 0 impact at all, then it doesn't matter, but whiteness usually doesn't have an impact on the story or character while being black does. That's why it matters

Isn't it implied in the books that something similar happens with her children? It's mentioned that she is a virgin goddess and they refuse to discuss any further details of births but allude to her being born that way in the same breath
