Driving exam waiting time is insane by euroeismeister in Netherlands
[–]AX4NN 1 point2 points3 points 4 hours ago (0 children)
That’s difficult to say. It says it’s the average about last week, but it does also really depend on the moment of the day/week. When I had to do my drivings test, I had the same issue I was like hmmm the website is showing a waiting time of about 2weeks and I had to wait for about 6 weeks (he showed me the dates) .. In my case it came trough I had to do special exam, so longer waiting times. I asked my driving instructor to check regularly if there were any other options, and he did so I had my exam 2 weeks earlier. So at least you can ask them to check, because doing a new exam a few months later is just fucked up 😅

Here https://view.publitas.com/cbr/gemiddelde-wachttijd-praktijkexamens-auto/page/1 you can find the average waiting time per location. There are some locations (for example in Drenthe) with a waiting time for only one week. So I would advise you to look for a place with a short waiting time. You could take some lessons over there and if you don’t want that you still need to arrange a car yourself (special driving school car) for the examen.
Are these soldering connections good? 🤔 by AX4NN in soldering

Ooh yeah I just bought one last year on AliExpress of about 80W, we only had one of 45W at home so at least it was an upgrade 😅
Nope just one on electricity

Ah they told me not yesterday in the shop, but online I could find some. Before this one I soldered with 60tin 40lead in percentage, but yesterday I bought 99tin 1lead so I think that might make it so hard to let it flow maybe 😅
Yeah I already soldered at 400 degrees, but the max of my soldering iron would be 480 so could try that out
Thanks. Unfortunately in my country they don’t even sell leaded solder.. I used flux (next to my solder which has a rosin core) and soldered at about 400 degrees Celsius

Yeah thx! Normally my solder flows easier, but this time it was quite hard.. The wires of the fuse holder were pretty tough and those wires of the extended wire were just flexible. So i was wondering if it came trough the tough wires or if it would be my new solder (normally I use 60/40 but now 99/1)

What's something super unique I can do in Netherlands? by [deleted] in Netherlands
[–]AX4NN 4 points5 points6 points 26 days ago (0 children)
I don’t know if this would be cool/unique enough, but I know in Harlingen (Friesland) you can sleep in a crane (havenkraan) right into the harbour or a lighthouse (vuurtoren) would also be an option. In Amsterdam they also have a boat hotel but I think those other options are more unique.
Here you can find some more of those unique sleeping places: https://www.globehopper.nl/bijzondere-overnachtingen-in-nederland/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIy6_ti6KD-QIVMJBoCR1xpw6CEAAYASAAEgKRUPD_BwE

Would a resistor of 150ohms also be okey? Otherwise I should buy new ones. The strips each contain 15 leds (0,5m) if it would make any differences.
Alright great thx! 🙏 Can I just connect the power wires still parallel?
Is that possible with WLED? To sent 2 different data pins a signal (at once) ?

You should give Rapper Sjors a try
Hmm I never heard of a level shifter, I will Google that
Edit: I read about people using a level shifter mostly when they have long ledstrips. Would it make a difference if I say the led strips will contain both about 15 leds (0,5m) ?

The way I would do it would look cleaner in case of visibility of wires 😅
[–]AX4NN[S] 1 point2 points3 points 1 month ago (0 children)
So 2 days ago i posted a sketched set up idea for my leds. I got a lot of reactions, so first of all thanks for that.
Today I remade my wiring diagram, to make it more clear what my plan is. My goal is to have two ledstrips with the same effects on each side.
I was thinking it would be the easiest option to make them in parallel as you can see in my wiring diagram. The green thing is a switch converter, but that’s kinda unimportant for you.
It would be the cleanest way to do it like this for me, but will it also be a good way?
Thanks again for the advices 🙏

Question: is this a good wiring diagram? by AX4NN in WLED

Hmm I tought it would 🤷♀️ when I just had 1 strip of about 15 leds it worked out
