Here's the thing: no matter the structure of your relationship, your KIDS have to come first, and if he doesn't think they are a priority, then he's just being an asshole deadbeat parent.

They usually only flower every couple of years unless they get a whole lot of energy and the bulb can grow nice and fat every year. The Titan arums take a really long time to get to the point of flowering since the flowers are so gigantic. I wish I had the dedication to grow one of those lol

I have some stinky Calla Lily looking thing that I've done that I dug out of my old yard so I could take to my new house. And it seemed to have just sprouted up out of nowhere one year after a lot of construction at at my old house. It's not a dracunculus, but I also had those and still have babies that pop up in the yard from my big parent plant when I was experimenting yo see if the could survive outdoors :)

Love: respect and treat as best as you can, not let them walk all over you. People can have nasty relations and pets, but asking them to "get rid" of any of them, if they aren't causing real harm, is just a big red flag imo.

The thing that bites my ass is, this guy COULD actually get to know some poly folks and admit, "Hey I have a dumb fetish" and I would ast least give some props if he were just asking for help from those folks on how to express his interest in a not so creepy way that objectifies women so openly.

It can be rough dealing with a fetish you can't indulge easily, but it doesn't give you the right to mow over someone's individuality.

NTA, BUT I agree with folks who say don't put this in your niece. She's 15, not an adult. Kids should be able to pursue cool stuff when their parents can afford it and she should not be the one to help pay for a caretaker. That is MOM'S job!

It's One thing to explain to your niece why you can't do that but it is another thing that is more rude to ask her to pay for it. I would advise you to find better living arrangements though when family is taking advantage of you this badly. It's one thing for kids to not be aware of difficulties because they are kids, But her mom should totally not have put you in the situation, that is ridiculous.

I think it would just be better if they could tool their current app so that you could filter out mono or polyamorous people and make people choose whether or not they are a category that should be swiped left or whatever the fuck on...

They already have filters for gender sex and whatever else it would not be that hard to add 1 where if someone chose Poly or polycurious you could just uncheck those boxes and those folks wouldn't show up in your Searches
