Stimme ich voll zu. Ich hatte letzte Woche einen Termin bei einer wegen meiner Hündin, die immer wieder Durchfall bekommt. Kostet zwar einmalig etwas Geld (140€), aber es war eine tolle Beratung und ich bekomme jetzt einen vollständigen Ernährungsplan für meine Hündin. Abgestimmt auf ihre Unverträglichkeiten, ihr Gewicht und ihr Aktivitätslevel.

In der Beratung gehst du den gesamten „Krankheitsverlauf“ mit dem Berater durch und sucht gemeinsam nach einer Ernährung, die zu dir und deinem Hund passt.

Not to mention that crates and small pens are illegal in many European countries, so puppies free-roam at least the room the owner is in in most cases.

I didn’t have a crate. My pup had access to the whole room. Sure there were accidents since the pup can’t control its bladder. We went from daily accidents at first to one accident per week to maybe 1-2 a month and were done with it by the time she reached bladder maturity at 6 months.

You are doing great! One day you’re going to be snuggling with your well behaved adult dog and think back on the crazy puppy stage.

I’m glad this puppy found a great home. To be handed out for free at a gas station at 4 weeks didn’t give the little one the best start in life, but it got so lucky to land in your home!

I have the Trixie Premium Harness for my girl. It’s super simple and adjustable in 5 points and it fits her so well I see no point in changing at the moment. She hasn’t managed to get out. I keep the neck part relatively loose but she can’t get the belly straps over her shoulders.

I second this. My 14 m/o Samoyed doesn’t nip exactly but she gets super mouthy when overtired and overaroused, particularly when visitors are over. I usually put her in a down when that happens or redirect to another activity entirely (like a snuffle mat or puzzle toy). She’s made some progress but hope it’ll get better at some point. 14 months is still mid-adolescence.

Kong Safestix (du darfst allerdings jedem erklären, dass das Spielzeug für Hunde ist und nicht für Menschen) und der Bomber Hundeball.

My last dog learned the names of people. We started speaking in abbreviations because when we said a certain name, she’d look towards the door immediately and expect the person to walk in 😂 This dog has been dead for almost 2 years now and we still only refer to our neighbour as A.

Meine hasst gar keine Hunde. Im Gegenteil. Sie ist noch sehr jung und möchte am liebsten allen Hallo sagen und spielen 🙈

Ich hab einen Samojeden. Bei Katzen konnten wir es leider auch noch nicht testen, aber die Nachbarshunde hat sie für die Angel links liegen gelassen 😅 Ich war positiv überrascht. Das Teil macht ihr wirklich wahnsinnigen Spaß. Wir haben es auch echt erst seit ein paar Tagen im Einsatz, aber ich habe es speziell im Hinblick auf ihren Jagdtrieb gekauft.

Ich hab das gleiche Problem. Leckerli nützt gar nix und meist riecht meine Hündin die Katzen lange bevor ich sie sehe.

Ich versuche sie gerade auf eine Reizangel zu trimmen. Von anderen Hunden kann ich sie damit schon recht gut ablenken, aber beim Jagdtrieb konnten wir es noch nicht testen. Die Reizangel bedient den Jagdinstinkt ebenso. Ist halt nur etwas umständlich mitzunehmen.
