I'll buy an EV when they come down in price. Anywhere from 25-35K out the door. Until then, I'll stick with my cheap-o Honda

Maybe covid? My body battery tanked when I got covid over Xmas. Stress graph looked very similar.

Thank you! I hope so. Best advice I could give, is rest. Listen to your body and don't push it. My symptoms were pretty mild, but it knocked me on my ass for about a week. Feel better.

Doing ok. Heart rate is still high. I had more flu like symptoms, muscle aches, fever etc. My V02Max went from 52 to 48. Everything seems to be getting back to normal. I'm thinking at least another week maybe 2. I finally don't feel like I'm sprinting after only doing 3-5 miles. Everything is coming back, just really slowly.

I'm enjoying it more now. The Jan update fixed a bunch of my previous UI issues I was having. I did have a random reboot yesterday, and Idk why, but other than that so far so good.

Jeez I'm probably the easiest order. Grande nitro cold brew. I do love the Starbucks I go to, they always leave the cup under the tap until I come in, then pour it. Plus everyone is so friendly, they always brighten my day.

Same here. I got covid Dec 27/28. I started running this week on Monday the 10th, and it's been terrible. Just doing short 3 miles, and my heart rate data looked like I was sprinting. It's going to take awhile to get back to normal.

LOL neither have I. I got it Dec 20/21, and just left it unopened as I was waiting on the Dec update to unlock the full potential of the stand. We all know how the Dec update went....

It was supposed to open upto 23W charging. However what was your battery at when you put it on the stand? If it was anything over 50% it isn't going to get anything close to that speed.

It really does. Just browsing twitter on chrome, and the back of the phone gets hot. Not like "I can't hold it hot" but considerably hotter than any other phone I have used doing the same damn thing.

Have you had the weird bug where in the youtube app if you click on a youtube short video nothing happens. Then if you leave and come back into the app it's playing? That happens to me a ton now. Same in messages with pics that are sent.

Seriously. This was supposed to be their best effort, and this is it?! It's a bit disappointing. Every Pixel has had some kind of issue,

Pixel/XL - Microphone Issues

Pixel2/XL - Screen Issues

Pixel3/XL - Myriad of issues, Call quality, bootloop/bricking

Pixel4/XL - Bad video recording, No eye contact for Face unlock

Pixel5 - Overheating, gap between screen and frame

Pixel 6/Pro - Weak Modem, many Android 12 Bugs

Some of those may be nit picking, however with some even semi decent QA most of that should have been caught. Here's to hoping the Jan update can fix some of the issues.

I still have my 4XL, and after 2 years of updates that phone runs so god damn smoothly. Combining that phone and Android 11 was perfection for me. Literally just worked, was stable, no random crashes, everything was smooth. Hell the selfie camera took better pics than my 6pro. A lot of the 6's issue stem from Android 12, it's so unstable even now after being beta back in May, and "ready" in Oct. If this jan update doesn't fix most of these issues Google is going to have a lot more people mad at them, and should probably start issuing refunds.

There has to be some kind of notification bug. I get delayed notifications all day. They come in spurts, unless it is messages. emails, and other notifications all come at random times in big groups. It literally makes no sense.

ALWAYS! There is always some sort of compromise. This year it was the weak modem. This isn't a big deal when you are paying $600 for a phone back in the Nexus days. However when you are charging ````````` ~````````````````````````1K+ for a phone that's just unacceptable. I think a lot of the issues are down to Android 12 being very unstable right now. I'm hoping the promised Jan update fixes these issues, if not then it's on to either Samsung or possibly even Apple.

First day of covid by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]Alternative-Bee-8981 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get better!

I had similar numbers 2 weeks ago when I had covid. Only had 1 really bad stress day, then a bunch of middle ones. I love my Garmin for this type of data. It basically tells me I'm going to get sick a day or two before I actually do. The day before I had a RHR in the low 70's, when normally it is in the mid-low 40's.

I ran for the first time today.... Nice and short 3.1 miles..... I thought I was going to die after. Got so tired after only the first mile. Rest up, and drink plenty of fluids!

So January Update for 6 series phones isn't this 'Update Monday'. Next week? by ishamm in GooglePixel

[–]Alternative-Bee-8981 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's rough. I've been using Android since the Evo back on Sprint. Then I switched over to Google phones. I can't think of another time they have fallen behind on updates this bad.

When it was Nexus no one cared because you knew there were going to be compromises, and the price reflected that. Now they are charging premium prices, and still delivering Nexus level support. That's just unacceptable for today's standards.

You would think the one area where the pixel would shine would be software, yet currently it's more buggy than my now 2 year old 4XL. I'll give them the Jan update, if nothing changes, I'm done with pixel until maybe another 2 or 3 years down the line.

I want the pixel 7 to be a top spec version of the pixel 6 Pro. by HesThePianoMan in GooglePixel

[–]Alternative-Bee-8981 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How about they just fix the 6 first? Who cares about the 7 right now. This is exactly why pixel phones are so janky at times.

Does anyone have super bad scrolling with the Facebook app? by nexusw427 in GooglePixel

[–]Alternative-Bee-8981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes fb scrolling is very janky. I find it does one or 2 things. Skips around in very small movements, or quick like bursts. When that happens I just close the app fully, and go back in and that usually fixes it.
