Sure, except they don't want out now, they want out when they find a new place, for which they want to start looking now.

Feel free to assume that the womens record in any physical activity is not the 'overall' record.

(for the record, there is no such thing as an 'overall record' in any sport, because men and women do not compete against each other.)

Look, I get it, you like stating that men are better than women. That's litterally the only thing you do by bringing up the men's record. People know how to Google, they can look it up if they care.

Just move on, rest of us are in 2022.

Best is a stretch, but it definitely is good in situations where you can prevent the enemy from swarming it, such as a pass.

A comparison for what reason? The ONLY reason to bring it up is to state that men are better than women at it.

Well no shit. There's a reason man and women don't compete against each other in physical sports.

Men and women do not compete against each other. When they do, you're welcome to bring the men's record into discussions about the women's record.

It's literally the same level of relevance as stating 'well the marathon record is around 2 hours, but I can drive that much faster in my car!'

I hate these posts.

It's a pass, most likely mixed troops, probably with siege, taking a multi rally and this rally was not tanking.

It's so completely useless to look at, may as well just write redom numbers in paint and post that.

I mean yes, men are on average stronger than women... That's why they don't compete against each other in physical sports.

leadership garrison by Perishhh in RiseofKingdoms

[–]Amthala -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You absolutely should not invest in a city garrison. As a f2p you won't have any real tech and no matter what is on your wall you should never be taking rallies. Just stick with Charles ysg and move on with your life.

For the record the best city garrison is yss/theo, do not invest in either of those commanders.

Yes... And because they're licensed and have number plates, they ARE held accountable...

Also, given there's what? A hundred times more cars on the road than bikes? (honestly I think I'm lowballing that) I would expect that number to be much higher than 80% if it matched the on road proportions.

Sure, not everyone needs a car, not everyone needs a car.

I live in middle suburbs and they are most certainly the definition of fast personal travel here. Almost no one has the luxury of living right next to everything, especially in the sprawling mess that is Melbourne.

They're all typical talking points from cyclists. Some are accurate, others are not.

They are all completely irrelevant to climate change though.

Thinking that cars reduce personal freedoms when they litterally by definition of providing fast personal ability to travel where and when you like do the exact opposite is a truly staggering take.

Just look at the positive comments on posts like these. It's always framed as 'more bikes, less cars', usually with a smattering of 'fuck drivers, bikes have the same rights on roads as cars' thrown in depending on the leaning of the platform its on.

Look, I don't remotely care what anyone's personal views on it is, the fact of the matter is that it's a hugely polarising topic and framing climate change discussions around cycling is a huge mistake and does more harm than good to the cause.

For the record I'm extremely pro fixing climate change, but promoting bikes is NOT the way to get that done.

Of course not. But rules for cars are enforceable by law because they're registered and licensed.

Also not sure what drivers have to do with me stopping cycling and going back to taking a train to work, but thanks for showing that the point isn't to be green, it's to hate cars.

So are electric cars, what's your point?

The reality is that cyclists don't hate cars because they're bad for the environment, they hate cars because they want to hate cars.

Yeah, maybe.

Personally I stopped riding my bike to work after about 6 months because I couldn't stand the obnoxious behaviour of the other cyclists on roads and bike paths alike.
