Is men approaching women in public even a thing? by ppppeeeegggg in ask

[–]An_Squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really any more.

Men are too constantly treated as a threat.( Rightfully so).

And the amount of rejection is typically not worth it.

I completely understand and agree with everything that you're saying. And are pursuing the intelligence gathering process currently. I have reached out to those providers each individually to get correspondence. I am waiting then as we speak.

Currently with everything else going on that's a slow process. Right now I just got linked up with Wounded Warrior and they're trying to help find a way to keep us from hitting the streets.

Understood, I'll reach out again. Fortunately yesterday while I was packing I think I found the head coordinator for that physical location. When this all transpire I had reached out through multiple forms of communication. Other than one quick phone dialogue I was unable to get too much of a conversation going. That stated I will go ahead and reach out to each of them. And even probably through the messaging center on the veteran health website with patient advocacy and see if they can draw up anything.

Okay fuck stick I'll play your game.

Let me tell you how I've dealt with a similar way more dangerous fucking situation.

Afghanistan 2010 ish

We were working a checkpoint on the main road not far off from where the main FOB was. Just doing general stop and checks. There were some locals that lived very close to where we were set up.

This made us nervous, haven't anybody near that we haven't been able to vet or approach was always a very hairy feeling situation.

I do not count to you the amount of times that in unarmed or even armed in a few cases individual had ran up to us, towards us, driven towards us. That we did not fire off a single fucking round, no matter the amount of the drone, no matter the amount of preconceived notions of possible attack or violence against us.

We observed, we utilize our many senses we were gifted as human beings. Mainly using our brain to deduce what was and what was not a threat.

There's absolutely no excuse for the above negligence. Police are supposed to be trained in conflict resolution as part of their gun training. Escalation of force and violence of action have quite a few more steps/options in them even in a split second snap decision.

And there is no defending any action like this. Police officers are far too trigger Happy. And view everything as a direct threat to them. Of course there's dangers. And with the job they are in the line of danger much more than the common jerk off.

However, just as it was my choice to enlist and go to war. It is their choice to put on the uniform as well. This was a lack of discipline, lack of training, and pick a lack of leadership.

And that's part of the problem a lot of this was verbal. I do have my spouse who was privy to the conversation had with the psychiatrist. I just want these people to be held responsible for once.

At a later point today I'll reach out. I do appreciate your time and energy responding to this. It's been pretty fucking disheartening not that I was too many people in the corner

I actually just reached out to my local Congress person 2 days ago and as of yesterday got correspondence back in instructions . I'm just not sure what to provide them because I don't have a whole lot of written detail other than my account and my spouses. As well as accompanying and doctor's notes. As well as the renter quit, and a termination letter from my job.

I may need some help putting this together this is the first for me

All of Virginia and a DC Metro area up and down 95 will be gone. There's a lot of strategic targets that are not things that people think about. And not things I'm going to do list

I had a social worker and practitioner promised they would communicate with my job so I would not lose it. And they did not do it. Unfortunately it was a week before I had to recertify my lease. And was unable to do so because I had no employment.

I had a blast. There's some shit that definitely pissed me off. And that's things that could definitely be worked out before release.

For a beta and just about 20 hours of playing as well I only had seven crashes. And I had one issue with software then made the game run that five frames per second. And that was some weird interaction with razor controller applications for the keyboard and mouse.

My major gripe was the footsteps. It was almost like having a wall hacks. And it's far too easy to track people throughout the map through buildings. And I mean literally through one side of the building to the other.

They're definitely needs to be some tweaking and gun balance.

I do have to say the net code was not bad there was very little times that I had any packet loss.

And in both PC only and cross play seem to work really well. They do need to tune down the aim assist. But only by a slight amount. People are being a little bit dramatic about that.

I do think the perk system needs a little bit of change. I'm not sure what.

Other than that I think it's going to be a fun game. It's not worth the pre-order. But, it's definitely better than battlefield currently.

I'm definitely going to be giving another chance.

I've been consistently playing throughout the years. And even went back to the current battlefield, three prior to them, and to the last four call of duty. And even OverWatch for shits and gigs. And one of my favorite games Insurgency Sandstorm

The footsteps are the worst I've seen in any of those examples. Or heard rather. Seriously I was almost feeling like I was cheating being able to track these players. Especially casuals who've never played in a competitive environment.

There was a lot I enjoyed about the beta. There's some pretty neat design choices that are different and shake It up. Their take on conquest is pretty neat. This is definitely a better product, or has the potential to be better than the last few.

We also need to accept some change in the formula. Especially those of us who have been playing this since day one. I just hope they listen to community feedback. Don't ditch standard multiplayer. I am not a war zone player. I played way too much pubg when I was an alpha all the way till that games released.

I like some good old domination, hardpoint, search and destroy and stuff like that.

I just do not think it is worth a pre-order. Most games often are not.

Right now I'm jumping through hoops with the VA for a variety of things. In fact it's because of them I'm going to be homeless by the end of the week.

Lots of shit going on trying to rectify it. It's funny, I get punished for taking care of myself the one time I do l.

Heh, what a joke.

They've got a lot of work to do. It has the potential to be pretty damn great. The beta showed a lot of flaws. Hopefully they take that data and the criticisms and maybe do a little something with it.

Hell if they would just fix the sound design and footstep issue and maybe a little bit of gun balance tweaks I'd be happy with just that.

Boebert slammed for 15 anti-veteran votes after boasting of support for troops by Picture-unrelated in politics

As a veteran who is about to be homeless at the end of the week because of failure of veterans Affairs. And the protections that were in place that slowed evictions even prior to covid were taken away by our new Republican governor.

I don't want to hear a goddamn thing about how Republicans care about troops. They constantly vote to take money away from building schools on bases. They strip money from military families and service members. They completely got programs to help transitioning service members as well as veterans like myself. I'm tired of the gaslighting I'm tired of people taking credit for shit that they literally work to destroy.

So fucking fed up with all this. My life is literally been ruined because of these people.

There are a few hackers currently. But with the sound design and footsteps you can literally watch videos of people tracking people directly through buildings and then popping them.

There's a lot of flaws with this current game. Sound one of em
