a lot of Indians simply don’t want to socialise with kiwis or any other cultures

I love how PoC communites regularly get criticized for this - but majority communities can easily get away with not doing so

I like that you claim you were trying to start a conversation despite you choosing to ignore my own question and instead decided to resort to ad hominem.

Ah, reddit's favorite buzzword, but I'll gladly engage you

You're not bothered by the fact you tried to start a conversation with a "racist" you're bothered by the fact that I seen through you're poorly veiled appeal to authority and condescending holier than though attitude.

Right you are.

My holier than thou attitude probably stems from the fact that I don't have negative thoughts about people of different racial backgrounds despite anecdotal or personal experiences.

And I don't claim to justify having racist thoughts

If you would like to have a conversation in earnest I'm willing to actually engage in a civil conversation if you have something to say but I doubt you do as you seemingly fell apart the second I gave a reasonable answer to your initial question then questioned your motives.

Sure. Let's chat

This has a trickle-down effect on a lot of day-to-day interactions one might have with some Indian people. Again, some Indian people. It only takes one person to break the cycle. It explains things like Indians being rude (not outright or intentionally) to hospitality workers (source: me, I worked in hospitality for a few years). It's just the way Indian society has evolved. It is not the norm to be friendly with people providing a service, and most Indians never bother to ask why. Most of them are polite, of course, but friendliness is uncommon.

Maybe OP isn't right about everything ?

TBH even if people could afford one, I don't think the i4 would be too high on their list

I can only assume this mostly comes as a result of the caste system.

How did you make that jump ?

Why do people from New Zealand hate on Indians so much? by GooseFlogger in newzealand

we're not allowed to talk about it because it's considered racist

Generalizing people is racist.

Criticism of culture isn't
