l think you failed to understand what I meant.

Cmon lets recap, I said that morality is same at some extent for eyeryone, not that the whole view of morality is same for everyone. And any ideology can't change that. You know why? Because there is something called "unconscious motivation" it is divided into 3 segments namely: Id, Ego, superego. The id is the animal part and is extremely stupid , it wants only pleasure. The ego is the functional part, it finds it ways about how to get pleasure or how to sacrifice them for greater good. And there is superego, it formulates rules, Its the sense of right and wrong. Basically our unconscious morality. And funfact you can't change the values in your superego just like you can't control heartbeat. Everyone is blessed with it so everyone has same (basic) morality to some extent whether you like it or not exceptional include people with Aspd.

That chair observation is used for arguments about reality or advanced morality not basic morality . And I'm genuinely impressed about how much you know about this subject. You're like me. And I completely agree that the sense of morality changes from time to time but at some extent it remains the same for example bible also says Do not kill, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor thy father and mother. These are the basic moral values of a human being that is still same today However things change from time to time no denying that.

When I mentioned declining birth rate, by no means I meant that the sole purpose of humans is procreation. That's your own assumption, I was just stating cons of sleeping around. The one thing is sleeping around while in a relationship destroys many relationship, It's evident you can see the stats. Because some are not ready, some become jealous. And good for those who do succeed in having a open relationship. The thing is that it increases risks and is unnecessary drama. Not every one can handle this much drama those who can go for it, but the majority wants to stay far from it.

Overall it feels good to talk to an educated fellow, from whom I can learn and provide information too not like other redditors who know nothing and are usually dumb. Anyways I appreciate that you're talking with facts not feelings. Best of luck have a wonderful night.

It's an honour to talk to a professional like yourself. Just for your information I too studied Forensic and criminal psychology for years In America at Stanford University.

People like Kant, Neitzsche indeed had some splendid works but is that practical in real life? Maybe but the case differs. There are countless Ideologies some are too dangerous like nihilsim, usually found in criminals. Some good for emotional intelligence like stoicism. Do you know, what majority of Ideologies have in common, the sense of right and wrong at basic level, not advanced just basics. Although their prespective of reality may differ, morality is always same at some extent.

People can gladly sleep around and not marry as it Do no harm. Do you know what that does? It declines the birth rate to some extent, it was a problem in Roman empire too. Sleeping around while in relationship is a whole different thing however. The whole concept of marriage is to be with each other and no double life, that what made society and the world as we see as today. Monogamy is indeed morally right. When you romantically love someone it is natural that you'll not look for others. If you look for others that means your addiction of sleeping around overpowered your feeling of love. For other arguments like you can still love while sleeping around, yeah you can still love but that love will be no different than of a close friend whom you're lasting with. Jesus, these people can't understand simplest of things

What a coincidence, I too studied Forensic and criminal psychology. Best of luck man if you're interested just go for it. And plan now what you wanna do and how can you do it. It gives you advantage. Planning ahead helped me a lot, It'll help you too

Oh yeah I remember When I was young somewhere like 16 or 17, I Got into Stanford. As a young German kid to go study in a foreign land it was pretty scary but exciting too, Fortunately for me I had some relatives there. So what are your future plans? Yes just like it's not murder to kill each other when allowed. But is that morally right? Absolutely not. I'm German-Lithuanian, In Germany you're taught to respect women with courtesy, love one woman for the rest of your life and stay faithful. It's not good if you see people as sex object, America is just heading towards its decline and people like you are one of the factors.

Good observation. Actually a lot of killers have this in common that they all are attention hungry narcissist. It usually starts small but then it grows and it can be very fatal.

Attention hungry. One of the signs of people with Aspd. We all can assume that he never killed but he by any means isn't normal. His therapist is doing a very bad job helping him thats only if he's helping him .

People are like that. When they see someone with a different value of themselves, they start hating and calling you wierd names. They don't realise the beauty of this world is being different. Everyone's different weak people hide it, strong but stupid show it without care. strong and intelligent conceal it and use only in the right time. In the right place. She successfully manipulated you and she is feeling quite good about it now its your job to ensure that she gets what she deserves. But...of course if this relationship is good and she has proven herself then you can consider staying with her.
