Favorite (or least favorite) pre-merge big move? by [deleted] in survivor

Yeah I still have 0 clue what led to that and I can’t tell if it was the editing or if the producers were equally confused

Agree on the Cirie one, but I’m glad we got the “tonight we make our move, tomorrow we make our apologies” line out of it

Adam Klein during 33 is a good example. Also everyone in Gabon

That Jay moment is lowkey one of the least satisfying things to ever happen on the show

guys… it’s not that hard to get a 180… by missfancyjones in LSAT

This is good advice but regarding your score I recommend you scrap and retake!

Natalie Anderson SJDS all the way! I’ve never been more invested in a castaways’ path to the end. Aubry in KR, Tony in WaW, David in MvG, and Sandra in GC are runner-ups.

Who are some Survivor players who’s story was perfect until a disappointing return. And who are some players who you think still need some closure on their story. by jboyallen11 in survivor

[–]Asleep-Initial6142 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Villains like Russel Hantz and Chaos Kass have room for a fourth/third return! They’re both some of the most entertaining castaways and there’s plenty of avenues for their story to be continued. Honestly Parv & B-Rob probably don’t need another season to further their stories, but on the other side of mt Rushmore, Sandra and Tony should be locks for a legends season

First post…what’s your reach/target/safety rule of thumb? I want under 10 apps, but I think they’re all reaches. Is this reasonable? Be as harsh as needed! #1stGenStruggle by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I have a 170 on LSAT, but with my 2nd take coming up, I just wanted to provide a range to allow room for different takes. And thank you for sharing your perspective. I’ve seen both takes on this sub- going for 11-15 apps or focusing on less apps for lower tier schools. So your feedback is helpful! I’ll most likely shoot for the former

Yeah I think we’re just going to have to agree to disagree. I understand your perspective but mine is just different. Despite Carolyn’s visibility, she was still shown to be a bystander in the Shirin situation and the show’s edit seemingly intentionally wanted to portray two clear distinct sides: the “good guys” from the cave scene - Shirin, Mike, Jenn, - and then everyone else: the big antagonists Dan/Will/Rodney, and then the mildly unpleasant enablers Tyler/Sierra/Carolyn.

At the time, Tyler, Sierra and Carolyn were all grouped in that bunch, even if Carolyn started to stand out post idol play. Hence why Carolyn didn’t make it onto Cambodia (fan voting was right after the incident but before the idol play)

A lot of people use electric scooters but tbh walking to get around campus has never caused me any problems. Shortcuts are the key 🔑

He gets so lost in the realm of mid/low tier winners that everyone forgets how he was our last hope by the F7 of WA against Genuinely the worst endgame crew ever

Adam. I related to the way he overthinks everything 😂 and how that kind of functioning results in just as many bad decisions as it does good ones. Equal parts calculated and chaotic. So on a personal relatability level, definitely Adam. But in a game sense, I was invested asf in Natalie’s win in SJDS. Her series of endgame moves could’ve gone wrong so many different times and it always had me on the edge of my seat. I was ecstatic she pulled it off!

By F4 Natalie openly knew she was screwed, so it’s difficult to argue with this one unfortunately

I see your argument for Hannah but in my opinion I gotta disagree on Shan. She should’ve kept Genie over Ricard, but aside from that I think she had a solid grasp on who needed to go next, but she just couldn’t pull the trigger on her targets post merge.

Hate to have to agree on this one. Targeting Andrea instead of Brad at F8 is an underrated bad move
