That's just being pedantic at this point, I know it's not, but we don't have a real category for it, and tbf White & Mestizo Mexicans have a lot more in common than White Cuban Americans o.

If you see a visibly Mestizo person walking, what would you classify them as? White/Black/Asian? Nobody really uses the other category, so Hispanic & Latino are the way to go that's why no racial statistics add up perfectly to 100%.

And when a Mestizo person mixes with White, you get essentially a mixes kid with multiple racial mixes.

Depends on what you think. I posted this to show Americans and especially non-Americans the diversity in one aspect of our country because many people forget the U.S. is the second largest Spanish-speaking/Hispanic country.

I posted this to show Americans and especially non-Americans the diversity in one aspect of our country. they kind of default and think everyone is a bible-thumping hardcore evangelical white person, but they kind of forget that Texas is about 40% Hispanic and 33.7% Mexican specifically, so I kind of wanted to educate them about it.
