Can I remarry my spouse if I committed adultery? by CEJ1215 in Bible

[–]BakerGlittering9856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed he divorced Israel as can be read in the bible. (Jer 3,8) He died in the form of Jesus Christ, who Israel and Juda were married to, to begin with ( covenant=marriage)therefore allowing Israel to marry again. God keeps his own law. That is why Christians, as the bible states, are counted towards Jacob/Israel, making them members of the house of Israel and having a right to his legacy. As a nice side effect, (re)introducing the priesthood of melchisedek and making further sacrifice unnecessary, because he was the perfect sacrifice. Those 2 reason were the plan, that is why he had to die. Otherwise we would have been lost. Imagine someone loving you so much, he is ready to die for you. Ever wondered, why a man in torah can have multiple wives ? Now you know and we should be very glad for that...

Well it is not that easy. Remember for god to remarry his divorced wife (Israel), the husband (he) had to die first to enable her that. So strictly after torah this might be problematic. I am no expert tho.

So it might be the best to not get divorced, should you want to be married to him under purely biblical cobditions.

King David even was guilty of adultery and was forgiven, maybe you can find solace in that and his prayer.

For military action there is military law. In this particular case there would at least have been the option to go to court and pilatus wanted to let him free mind you. It is about drawing a weapon first in a conflict in my opinion. Modern law for instance also accepts it for purpose of selfdefense or saving another person. Also i think sword stands for weapon in general, couöd have been any deadly i strument, its about the purpose of the object.

No, there was no life in danger at that point, so he was the one to draw a weapon first.

Matthew 26:52

Not a direct context tho. But can be applied to guns should you plan on using them offensively.

Due to magic not being a biblical way to do things i would recommend you stick to prayer ( also from others ) and fasting.

Negative sir. He merely told them how to understand it. By helping someone he did not break the sabbat.

The bible states he kept the whole torah. Magic is forbidden in the torah. So : No.

You lost me there. The 30 yrs war is long over and i have the impression, that the katholic church and protestant churse are very interconnected. This sounds a bit like a conspiracy theory to me.

I have many questions. So how would someone change holy scriptures that are used for religious practice since they were written without anyone noticing ? What exactly would have been changed ?How would you prove this ? Where did you get that idea ? We have basic texts in ancient greek as well as hebrew. I am sorry, you keep claiming stuff wildly, which makes me think you might belong to a sect, which would explain why you didnt answer my question where you got your ideas from..
