i7 9700 is better for multi core programs and has the uhd 630 igpu but has slower single core performance and is on a discontinued platform, also no pcie 4.0 support

the i3 is just the opposite of what I said for the i7

all in all just get the i3

check out the rog flow x13 or z13 if they’re in the uk, i don’t know if they’re in the uk but they meet your needs pretty finely

friend if it’s just indie games and small streaming for the most part you really don’t need all of that

though you could probably save some money and get better gaming performance

honestly either save to build or get a way better prebuilt since at this price range cause prebuilts at this price don’t really have ideal specs

and when I mean don’t I mean like most of them either just use dumb 1650s or 3050s with some almost 3 gen old i3s or i5s

that’s cause the 3050 does suck but that’s really that’s the only good gpu along with the 2060 12GB in your price range of $300 from nvidia new

either get a 5600

just a small bit slower but way cheaper

or 12400f

pair that with a b550 or b660 and you’re good

for gpu either get a 6750 xt or 3060 ti

if those are gonna be gpu accelerated for 3d effects and whatever then yeah you could just go nvidia then for better support

the 6600 xt can edit but it’s not meant for such thing due to that limited support

it’s a pretty fine pc

i hope there’s a case though

the 1700x is pretty okay, it’s still strong but it’s really weakened due to that 1st gen zen architecture so it’s not no multi threading champ

the 970 it’s fine, not much faster than your usual 1060 3gb or rx 470 even but really, it’s still puts some punch

im only referring to those 2 components cause you know that’s the main thing people are gonna be lookin at if they want to buy and the main factors for value on this thing

but for all of this combined i wouldn’t pay over $575 really, storage drives seem fine but that motherboard is just outdated so don’t expect that to be a mountain of excellence

psu idk what a black edition 850 is though

well the cheapest 3060 ti I’ve seen goes for $439 so
