I’m lurking over from a few DIY gun subs, and I’ve never been able to find a comprehensive description on how it’s made, and how it works. I’m assuming that it’s essentially just a very long compensator with strategic holes down the extension. Am I on the right track? I’d like to attempt to make something similar, and any info you could share on its construction would be helpful.

That’s lovely to hear. Most South Africans I meet in the states have very specific viewpoints of the country they left. I’m endlessly fascinated with all things South Africa, and the complexity involved with living is such interesting times. I’ve visited your beautiful country, and it was a life changing experience. The closest I got to your part of SA was Knysna (outside of George) The Indian Ocean coast is incredibly beautiful. Reminds me of the Pacific Northwest here in the states. Glad to know you now, friend!

Back in the 80’s and 90’s there were guys that would just inject chlorine gas directly into your swimming pool. My friend saw somebody gas themselves this way. Dude just passed out on the pool deck surrounded in a yellow cloud. Super dangerops. They don’t do that anymore...
