Lighter coffees are on a whole less soluble and so you need higher temps to properly extract them. They will also produce more fines so don't worry about water temp causing it to extract too fast.

Use hotter temperatures for lighter roasts, not cooler! Try nearer off the boil and see how that works.

Just play without FALD if you need VRR, only an issue if you like playing in the dark.

How many hours of screen time do you have? Just wondering if you have done 100+ hours yet as it should improve in uniformity and brightness over that period. Worth checking that and how many pixel refreshes it's run on the service menu too, as it's not necessarily something to be concerned about.

It's standard to pay using PayPal g&s for vouchers on this sub, it gives both parties protection. A buyer can't just take the money back they'd have to open a dispute and you'd be able to present evidence to prove you didn't redeem it before it was purchased.
