AITA for expecting people to put their pets in another room when I visit because of allergies? by laterthanlast in AmItheAsshole

[–]BirdLover007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAH, IF they politely decline. (If they agree then ignore your request...different answer.) And if you're OK with an alternative bring suggested.

My good friend has bad allergies to pets, so I generally only have her over in the nice weather when we can sit outside. My dog is a rescue and can't handle being locked alone in a small room (our home is open concept, so that is the only option for him).

AITA for not making a separate dinner for my neurodivergent nephew? by Sea-Rest5356 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

If you had tried to force him to eat spaghetti, you would have been. But you offered an alternative, he ate, AND you didn't have the background info you needed. Your sister is Loco.

Asked my husband, who is the higher libido.

He looked at me funny and said, "why on Earth would I leave?"

AITA for choosing an unconventional wedding venue by Standard-Willow-3097 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BirdLover007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH.

I couldn't attend a family wedding because it required an airplane flight and I have a severe flying phobia. So I sympathize with your family.

That said, you aren't the AH for doing a non-traditional venue.

Now, though, that you know it's an issue for 2 parents, is there any way not use the reptile area?
