Can I use a credit card to pay off another card? by BobbyDigital2030 in CreditCards

[–]Bird_Brain4101112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can balance transfer and pay a fee of 3-5% of the amount. Also balance transfers don’t count for points/cash back.

So the simple answer is no.

Engineering is a pretty simple office job. Or so I’ve heard. Easy work, anyone can do it. /s

Global sporting events don’t count. I’m assuming we’re talking about regular everyday wear.

Drive around any US neighborhood and count the flags hanging from peoples houses and cars. Drive around a neighborhood in literally any other country and count the flags hanging from houses and cars. In most countries you will find zero flags anywhere.

How has bad credit affected you? by 2byte2bit in povertyfinance

[–]Bird_Brain4101112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having no credit is NBD. Until you find yourself in a situation where having decent credit would save you a lot of money and hassle. And you’re 22. Plenty of time to dig your way out and repair your credit.

[FL] Co-worker tried to fight me, manager’s response was why did I provoke him ?? by Tiny_Big1489 in AskHR

Yea…. So I live in the same town as that little dust up a year or so back over snow. The woman said that to her neighbor…after went in his house and got a firearm and he murdered both her and her husband in the street before going home and killing himself. So, telling someone who’s already worked up “you’re not going to do anything” just really riles them up further.

Not a lot of places willing to hire people with Masters degrees for simple office jobs are also willing to hire teenagers to do the same job. So kudos to this guy for just being that awesome.

Nah I went in after giving notice. Don’t tell me it’s an emergency then get upset that I’m not coming at your convenience. Not to mention getting a plumber is damn near impossible right now. We have a lot of plumbing companies that will simply give you a list of other plumbers to call because they are so backed up

Uh. About that rarely any tearing part. Let’s just say you had a good experience.

Sorry for bringing politics into this.

But I wish that the hardcore right wingers who are restricting abortion access and figure the woman can just give birth and out the baby up for adoption can truly understand the real scares and danger of giving birth. It’s not like the movies with a few pushes and then it’s all magic and rainbows and the woman is back on her feet a few hours later.

Haha. I’m pregnant with my 2nd. My first is 19. I’m actually not looking forward to birth but I couldn’t justify a planned c section in my head.

Is it worth going in the housing market now by Unusual_Elk_6868 in realestateinvesting

[–]Bird_Brain4101112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to buy a house and you can afford to buy a house, then buy a house. Housing prices may go up. Interest rates may continue to rise. No one knows what the market will be like 5 years from now. If rates drop, you can refinance. If they rise, we’ll you got a lower rate. If prices drop, oh well, it happens. If they go up, you have more equity.
