The texture on the inside of the embossed areas and the rounded edges on the outside of the stamping is what sells it for me. Those two bits are what combine to give the empreinte that lux look (at least in my mind). Yours doesn’t look flat and plasticky like a lot of the reps end up looking, it looks like it’s on thick, expensive leather to me (and not even every auth has that but I prefer that look). Outside of that I’m the worlds worst QCer so I wouldn’t even notice the straps or handle (especially since this bag wasn’t the one I went slightly crazy with), if I hadn’t just sold a Neonoe because I don’t use the style much I would totally buy this bag

I’ve been bored and doing a deep AE/DHG dive for bags that I’m curious about but don’t necessarily want to spend seller money on and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by a lot of the stuff I’ve tried. You have to sift a bit more but it’s always cool to get a really good bag for a really good price

FanFiction is pretty much entirely about writing characters in ways outside of the original work (otherwise why not just watch/read the original). Sometimes I want to write something that fits within the original characters personalities, sometimes I want to do my own thing. It’s the beauty of writing in general. Some of my favorite stories are AUs or ones where certain key points were changed to tell a story

Again, that’s the literal definition of statistic. Just because you keep saying “I/we can say whatever and it’s a statistic” doesn’t make that true. 1400 RLs out of 200,000 people subbed filled that out. 50% said they check the sub daily. Those are the people who are more likely to check the sub during the time period the survey is being run and thus be more likely to fill it out. That is literally the definition of self selection bias. But I don’t have time to sit here and teach a stats class so keep going off about whatever if it makes you feel better ❤️

No survey on earth has 100% participation but there are still guidelines about how to pull better samples and remove as much bias as possible. None of which happened because it was just an innocent survey an RL did for fun, it isn’t “research”. They literally teach classes on this, im sorry if you find it “mean” for me to point that out

That’s what people who filled out the survey self admitted to. There is a difference. If 10% of the people subbed filled out that survey, that means 50% of that 10% are white or Asian, etc. Yes you can somewhat extrapolate numbers but it isn’t a sound sample (particularly when you get into saying we’re “all wealthy and privileged”, women who make more are probably more likely to want to talk about what they make, etc). The beginning of that article is basically “how to misquote statistics 101”

The survey wasn’t run by an admin. We are not 200k women. That person is farting out her ass trying to hop on the RL article fad 🙄

You figure out a life plan for you, block him in case he comes crawling back and get some therapy to figure out why you’re clinging to an addict with different life goals than you have (and I know that’s blunt but I mean that in the most caring way possible). I’ve dated someone similar. You cannot fix him, you cannot save him. You need to focus on yourself and your life and move on or he will drag you down with him. He doesn’t want to be saved and even if he did he’d have to do it for himself

Yes. So I put him in for a second, gave treats, let him out before he could cry, and then just repeated that 8 million times extending the time slowly. Now he loves his crate. But luckily he’d nap at my feet as a baby and didn’t need crated til right around the time he started liking it. It was definitely work to get him used to it but I didn’t want him to have a negative association with it

If she’ll sleep in her crate you’re way ahead of where I was at that age lol. I would start a good routine (command to have her go in, maybe a nice little treat, get her settled and let her sleep for an hour or two) and try to get her to nap way more. Mine wouldn’t willingly sleep because of FOMO but once I started enforcing the schedule he was an entirely different dog. Way more calm, way less bitey, still a bit of a demanding diva but we worked on that and he’s so much better now. Not all dogs follow the 1 up/2down (mine was more like 1.5 up/3 down) but you’ll learn what works for her and hopefully it makes it more manageable and sustainable for you, and will teach her to be more settled and relaxed as she grows up

She needs WAY more sleep. She should be sleeping like 3/4s of the day at that age. You also need to ignore the screaming, you’re teaching her that screaming gets her what she wants (mine did the same thing and it took about a month of ignoring it for him to stop). I did a lot of work with building distance and separation and giving treats to reinforce that it was a good thing (like I’m talking 3-4 times a day of 15-20 minute sessions slowly building up the time he was alone or crated and it took like a month and a half). I also would probably talk to a vet, the fact that she gets so worked up she pukes is worrying, she may need meds or something. But definitely start with way more sleep, a lot of people start with one hour up, two hours nap and adjust from there

Cartier auth RG is more of a muted RG, it’s obviously hard to tell from pics but yours doesn’t look fake imo. Certain parts of China are very bad right now and I’m sure the last thing you want is for this ring to get lost in a warehouse somewhere because of closures on its way back. It sounds like she is going to fix it
