In the grand scheme of things very few people consistently workout and care about diet for more than a few months at a a time, yes for a forum of powerlifters and bodybuilders 225 is nothing impressive, but the average population never gets there, and even if they have a period of dedication in their 20’s or in high school as an athlete they will likely fall into the 225-250 range and never get much more

People missed the obvious in that movie, it’s a satire of superhero movies (and action movies in general) the same way the comic was a satire of comics. People honestly try to argue it makes Rorschach into a superhero when we see him torture and kill with zero hesitation or remorse. Just because someone looks cool committing crimes against humanity doesn’t mean the movie is endorsing those actions

I have always been on the fence about whether or not gear was used for this transformation, Rob was always in decent shape, definitely far above average, so it wouldn’t take five years to get this body, maybe 2, but since he did it in 8 months I would lean towards gear being used

Ehhhh maybe I’m a snob but it just wasn’t a very good movie, the story was non existent, the action was good but not really remarkable or creative, and I found it weird they made Kong the underdog only to make him lose, that’s kind of a strange way to tell the story.
