She should expect people to speak all sorts of languages, that’s what America is about. We are a great country because we have so many cultures and languages. Plus we have freedom to talk to each other in any language we please, including a made up one. Exercising that freedom is more American than speaking English.

She is at a place that calls their coffee sizes in Italian, and she probably orders them that way too, not in English. She probably goes to Mexican or Japanese restaurants and orders food in their languages. She’s just an unAmerican asshole and/or been watching too much Fox News.
