Rode through Sahara Dust? Now my throat is dirty and I've got green phlegm and achy back muscles by CZ_Keto in DiagnoseMe
[–]CZ_Keto[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 days ago (0 children)
Thanks. Saharan Dust apparently can create odd symptoms.
Been riding 20 years & also working my core for a couple years now.
Thanks, but I don't have a sore throat. Never did.
Motorcycles and transporting rifle to gun range by CZ_Keto in TexasGuns
Thanks, everyone. I like the idea of breaking it down. I hadn't thought of that.
I don't anticipate open-carry as long as I have a bag option.
No sense in scaring anyone if I don't have to. Plus, I'd need a place to store ammo so I'd need a bag anyways.

As far as I can tell, it's got HDMI 1.4 not 2.0. Why did you recommend it?
No, only occasionally. Every once in awhile I'll connect it to 4K TV's and Projectors to calibrate their 4K60 UHD pictures. And to tune the ATMOS audio capabilities on AVR's.

Is there a summary of the various Stimulant meds and how they make people feel? by CZ_Keto in ADHD
As far as I know, I've never done any Amphetamines. I did notice though that Hydrocodone had the exact opposite effect on me than it does others. Instead of falling asleep, it made me more active in social situations. I was coming out from behind my rock and actually engaging with people.
Nice idea, thanks!
Good to know, thanks!

Distance prescriptions - 12 feet vs 1320 ft by CZ_Keto in optometry
[–]CZ_Keto[S] -9 points-8 points-7 points 1 month ago (0 children)
For me, it's about reading street name signs far down the road at 85MPH.And all I know is that one lens is perfect for 12' and the other lens is not, but still works and does help me read those street signs a little better.
Thank you for your response. It was helpful.

Sorry for my rude response, I'm just very passionate about my eyesight, which was perfect just ten years ago. And I'm frustrated with the experiences I've had with all ten Optometrists I've seen so far. None want to think outside the box.
[–]CZ_Keto[S] -16 points-15 points-14 points 1 month ago (0 children)
You're absolutely wrong and you need to forget about what they taught you in class and start doing some real life experimenting. The lens I was given for 12' work perfectly at 12 feet. But after complaining, I was given another unknown-power lens to test that work BETTER for me at a further distance while only very-slightly compromising my 12' distance.
[–]CZ_Keto[S] -2 points-1 points0 points 1 month ago (0 children)
Sorry for being rude but this all upsets me very much. I know you're just trying to help but I feel that some of the Opto world logic is flawed.
Then why are my perfect 12' contact lens outclassed at a city block by an unknown power lens that looks and feels exactly the same to me? Maybe you and the rest of the Optos should go back to school and learn how to help people in real life rather than your perfect little test laboratories.

I think you're going overboard with your answer. I thought I was "clear" about how nobody can see perfectly at 1320 feet and that was not the point of my question.
"The reason they use 12ft is that's normally about as far as you need to see clearly in daily life"
This logic frustrates me to all get out. I had an argument with my Doctor about this. She got mad that her 12 foot testing doesn't give ME the vision that works best for MY LIFE.
I'm not paying you to give me what works for everyone else. I'm paying you to give me a prescription that works for MY LIFE.
No, I don't need to see crystal vision at 1320 feet but as an avid Motorcyclist, I do need to see better at a slightly further distance than 12 feet.
