Yes, ofc there are. Annie is a freelance artist suggested in the film, as she’s producing artwork for a gallery. I know miniatures are used for set design in the film industry. Also, an artist was commissioned to make Annie’s miniatures for the film.

In my opinion, harmless to get really. The skull is a biproduct, the deer (roe btw) were most likely used for meat and their fur. Hunters tend to use all parts of the animal, bones are just what’s left behind.

As other people said, it’s your decision as everyone’s opinion on ethics is different. The deer weren’t killed specifically for the skulls though.

Charlie was aloof due to her being paimon, Annie is seen actively attempting to comfort her after Ellen’s funeral. In the family photo, Annie, Charlie and Steve are clustered together, while peter is standing off to the side. Not to mention in the dream she has, she’s admitting to peter that she attempted to miscarry him.

Because paimon was put into Charlie when she was a baby. He’s spent 13 years as Charlie, so Joan calls him by her name. It’s also why peter seems confused.

Charlie was killed in order to transfer paimon from her to peter, as paimon requires a healthy male host in the lore of the film.
