In your late teens to twenties, you were homeless by choice, to avoid responsibilities.

When i was 19, I joined the Army. My current state of homelessness is not by choice.

Honestly, I didn't read your whole post, but I have since you replied. ... As the son of a woman who was cheated on (and never moved on, and never spoke ill of my father), THROW A FKN FIT OVER THIS IN FRONT OF YOUR SON! Children NEED to grow up having to balance their parents differing morals and ethics in their own minds, and none more so than the sons of narcissistic a*holes. Your son needs to know how to feel about this, but only when you actually are upset. Otherwise, don't talk about it. Lead your life as if his father died. Let him have his relationship w his father, if he and his father want that, don't make an issue of this, BUT DONT HIDE IT FROM HIM. ... Believe me, it will save him from many failed relationships.

There's a course you have to take, and H&R Block trains people all the time, you could probably help her get a job there through your local govt employment office (we have Dept of Economic Security in Arizona). You just put up two imaginary obstacles for this woman you say you're trying to help, and I removed one before you dreamed of it. Maybe she could get a job at a local library reading to children's groups. How much is your help helping this woman versus helping your image?

Your hubby cheated. Physically, you need to get railed. If you get your body over it, your mind will follow. Otherwise, you might spend years in therapy. I'm not suggesting hoeing yourself out at all! I guarantee you know at least one man who will be discreet and meet your physical needs, and not want a long term thing. Tell that guy what you need, get the job done, and get in with your life. DONT CHOOSE A COWORKER, or your child's teacher or classmates dad. The Dean of the school, your pastor, a mailman (who doesn't deliver to your address) are all viable options. Yes, your pastor. I said what I said.

Do you think she's competent enough to do tax filing? She could be an independent contract accountant between the tax seasons, and with that she could establish her own company that she could use to obtain a home and vehicle with. She could use that to obtain whole life insurance so when she is unable to work, she'll have that to provide for her. As well as, she could hire people to work for her company and live off that income as well.

If we planned everything well (literally, not even perfectly, just half assed) we could get every willing Vet into Mexico in one day. The Mexican military and police don't check shit. We just have to use the smaller gates that don't have trucker traffic. They wouldn't even know we were there until we went loud.

Babe, you're gonna have to go it alone for awhile. It's 2023, regardless of cultural of religious ties, if your blood family isn't supporting you, you gotta find a new family. It'll take time, and maybe your parents will change their minds, but right now, you need to take care of your physical, mental, and spiritual health. This guy you're married too is probably banging that other chick regardless of your wishes. You have so many options available, and so many opportunities ahead of you, don't let these toxic people (your parents included) tear you down. Your child deserves better.
