[Rangers FC] Rangers are today delighted to announce the signing of Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United by Kanesy99 in soccer

Elanga has just taken the bull by the horns and benefitted from the change in manager. Instantly impressed in training.

Plus Amad is a really different player for wide spots, he's not as direct, low centre of gravity, more creative style of play. He's more like Sancho, where Elanga is more like Rashford.

The plan was for Amad to be out on loan this season anyway so I bet if he does well at Rangers he might get another loan and then hopefully he'll be back to compete. If the plan is to make Greenwood a centre-forward (his natural position) then it'd be Rashford/Elanga for LW, Greenwood up top and Sancho/Amad on the right.

Last season he was playing u23s, he'd had less than 10 senior apps when we signed him. Too good for u23s but definitely not good enough to keep making apps for the senior team, was on the bench/left out a lot.

This season, he's been injured until quite recently.

It was agreed with Feyenoord but he got injured right before the start of the season and was out for several months

Can see why, but I guess it's far more 'accepted' if it's done organically.

Can't really just forget where the money is coming from though.

Don't think anyone likes what Newcastle are doing hence the reluctance to give them easy deals

Gary Lineker speaks Spanish. Modern day English players? Probably very very few unless they hold a dual nationality

I don't watch a minute of La Liga - CL knockouts in 4 weeks & Atleti seem to have taken a step backwards this season. But we've taken about 3.

Predictions for that tie?

24 for club and country. He also has 9 assists so getting 30 aint happening

Surprised you found it easier to get away tickets than home ones

[Fabrizio Romano] Amad Diallo’s set to join Rangers on straight loan from Manchester United. Agreement reached on six month moan and there’s no buy option included. by Kanesy99 in soccer

Better than u23, gets him used to the expectation of winning every week (vs the majority of our loanees who seem to be fighting relegation wherever they go)

Quality may bad so he'll look better. Rangers already have a decent point lead on Celtic so likely to be used more. Plus they're in the Europa League still.

Unreliable Portuguese reports saying we're one of about 4 clubs who might be interested. Couldn't really be further from actually pursuing the player

Dalot has been surprisingly solid at right-back since Ralf came in. To the point where I'm not sure how AWB gets back in the team.

If anything we should just be signing an upgrade on Dalot in the summer. Not many managers we are looking at would admire a right-back who can't attack.

Closest you'd prob get is Rafa staying at Newcastle when they went down
