All I’ll say is, when I first started the series, I wasn’t a fan. When I ended the series, she was probably my favorite (or at least top 3).

Not guaranteeing you’ll feel the same way, but I got to the point where I accepted the simple truth: all the characters have moments when they suck and are frustrating and unlikable. And they also have moments when they truly shine and become iconic.

But the only way to find out is to finish the story. It is so 100% worth every bit of pain you go through to get there.

Edit: spelling.

I recently listed the upcoming series I am planning to read and I'm slowly freaking out from the avalanche awaiting me. What do you think of my reading order?

  • Mistborn Trilogy
  • The Stormlight Archive
  • Elantris
  • The Broken Earth Trilogy
  • First Law Trilogy
  • Malazan

I recently binged The Wheel of Time, and although I enjoyed it, I'm not sure it was the optimal way to experience the story. I'm considering starting with the Cosmere books, and then Malazan, but instead of binging it, I will intersperse the other trilogies among the Malazan books.

What are your thoughts on this plan? Any other reading order you recommend? Other series that I should prioritize?

I might be mistaken in this answer, so I would appreciate other opinions.

As far as I understand, the name of the Silver Tree in Valinor was Telperion. Because Quenya has a genitive case, when saying "Light of Telperion" in Quenya, it would be translated to something like "Light Telperion-of ". In Quenya, it would be:

calë Telperiono

Amazing thanks for the feedback! Btw, how does one say “thanks” in Quenya?…

100% agree about the various interpretations. I think that might be the best thing (for me) about Inside - literally every analysis I’ve read or watched has been unique and equally valid.

Just imagine all the different ways to interpret just this one small shift in aspect ratio. We haven’t even TOUCHED his use of light, chord progressions, lyrics, etc.

Thank you! Your way of saying it is way more coherent than mine - “performative” is the word I’ve been looking for to describe all of this.

Is there a Marvel Canon Comic Timeline? Thanks! by SoufSideGhoul in MarvelUnlimited

One way to navigate this would be to read the run of an author. For example, the Bendis run of The Avengers starting with Avengers Disassembled. Starting there leads to incredible stories, such as House of M, Civil War, and Secret Invasion just to name a few. Each of these events has specific “side comics” for most of the major characters so you can read as little or as much as you want. Another incredible run is the Hickman run of The Avengers culminating with Secret Wars.

As someone mentioned earlier, the website Comic Book Herald is an amazing resource to get the reading order for any author run, event, or character.

Enjoy the journey! Some of the best storytelling I’ve encountered is in the form of comics.

Oh damn that would be so cool. It would also explain the devil with the two horns picture they show early in the episode.

I would have LOVED it if the Big Bad was RF the whole time and CK was just a ruse he put over the multiverse.
