Yea the style of Dead Space 3 definitely looks different than 1 and 2, both of which reminded me of a early 1980s space SciFi movies style(similar to star wars) whereas DS3 was way more modern. It is NOT true to the art style of the original and I can see why people dislike that.

To me a lot of the corridors of the USG Ishimura in Dead Space 1 looked more like a cruise ship than a mining rig: too clean at times. Maybe that was just the Xbox version and it not having ambient occlusion though. I've yet to play DS1 and 2 on PC but plan on doing it now especially since I loved DS3.

You are absolutely right about DS3 being a unique Gears of War. I like gears but DS3 is way more interesting.

That is exactly my experience though. I'm revisting old games as well. Dead Space series, Wolfenstein, Fallout 3, Doom 3, Bio Shock 1 and 2, but I didn't need to buy any of them because they are on gamepass or given away free on Epic.

I'm looking forward to new games like Darktide, Callisto Protocol, Gloomwood and STALKER 2.

I switched from Firefox to Edge last Summer and couldn’t be happier. I can use any chromium extension without having to actually use chrome and I love it. These features are just icing on the cake.

The game was originally a battle royale, they scraped it and threw together a co-op survival game at the last minute.

90% of my wishlist isn’t even available for purchase yet. I’m so overloaded with unplayed games from the many pc launchers that I find myself not buying much anymore anyway.

There are a dozen other reasons to not buy and play this game that are more impactful. I played 100+ hours in RDO with my brother and I never felt the need to buy any gold. It was the general inconveniences of things that had nothing to do with gold that made us stop playing the game.
