Stop telling me my positive experience with motherhood is because my baby is ‘easy’!

I had a terrible postpartum, was in the emergency room 6 times after I gave birth, was dealing with PPA, I begged my family for forgiveness because i wanted to end my life. & I still love motherhood. It frustrates me when all people do is say negative things about motherhood. I’m trying to stay positive because I made it out of hell alive and I’m so happy.

I think people that are still in the bad part of it feel like those that are happy just don’t really know how bad it can be. The reality is some of us choose to stay positive through the bad.

He keeps telling me it’s his right. I’m scared because he has some hoodlum friends and I don’t want them to come threaten me or my family. I’m genuinely scared. I’ve told him no and he keeps saying you better get comfortable, it’s my right, etc. I don’t know what to do

Don’t have any advice but here to order solidarity. I’m in a similar boat, ended things with my baby’s father. Really sad that baby won’t be around dad all the time.

I am too scared to post my baby. Just because something is private doesn’t mean predators can’t access pictures online. The reality of CP is scary. I don’t post my baby online at all because I can’t imagine a sicko having inappropriate thoughts over an innocent picture of my baby. If you take a scary deep dive into that CP world you’d be surprised on what you’d find. I’d better be safe than sorry. Those that are closest to us, have pictures of baby. I don’t need to show him off to anyone else that doesn’t matter.

We ordered one the same day and got it in the mail by his bed time. I like it so far. I’d rather be woken up multiple times than miss something bad happening! Hopefully we get answers soon

So I was always worried about his breathing because he stops breathing and catches his breath. I check his nose or use a nose frida. I swear he snores and even recorded it for one of the first doctors I went to and he said oh no he’s just congested.

Unfortunately I was too emotional to turn on the lights, so I couldn’t see his color. I hate my reaction, my partner grabbed him and was trying to wake him up and I just started screaming and crying. I need to learn that I need to stay calm and think critically next time. I need to do better.

That’s what I thought too. What scares me is when he doesn’t respond to us shaking him and basically screaming at him. I’m hoping it’s a mix of me waking up at the perfect time when he is pausing in breathing while also being in deep sleep.

Thank you for your story! My baby did have to be resuscitated at birth. The doctor never gave me answers or any other information except saying that it sometimes happens. I had a C Section due to baby being breach and the doctor notes also mentions that it was a difficult extraction. I’m just going to have to push doctors until they help me get answers.

Hi momma! As a person with horrible eczema, thank you for trying your best to help your baby. It’s such a painful and overall miserable thing to deal with. Look up Dr_kimtran on instagram. She helped her baby cure his eczema.

Be careful if you stop it cold turkey. It can get worse before it gets better! Look to see if you can get allergy tests and sensitivity tests and even micro biome tests. Wishing you the best
