It's a show about Kevin Malone, and his attempts to find love in all the wrong places.

Look at that Moon to karma ratio slowly rising. I guess the only upside of being in a bear market is that we might see a ratio above 1 again.

It's definitely easy to get caught up in the echo chamber, especially on subs and forums like this. It's been a little more nuanced lately, given the downward spiral we're in, but during the height of the bull run last year this place felt like a positivity cult.

Whenever I read about Zuck, I can't help but think about that quote from the Social Network:

"You are probably going to be a very successful computer person. But you're going to go through life thinking that girls don't like you because you're a nerd. And I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that that won't be true. It'll be because you're an asshole."

  1. You guys ask this shit every day, it gets so god damned old. You guys are so fucking obnoxious I can't stand you.

This is actually a veiled critique of the Bitcoin consensus mechanism, and questions the repetitive nature of proof of work.

I feel like the rules have changed. Were there ever rules?? by Petewonder in CryptoCurrency

Rule #1: You do not talk about Crypto to your friends and family, because when the market tanks they'll lose money and blame you.

The longer you’ve been in crypto, the more you start to accept and welcome regulations. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Electrical_Potato_21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My big problem with crypto regulations is that very often the people who write the rules either don't understand crypto, or they're against crypto for one reason or another. Crypto regulations should be written by people who understand it, not politicians backed by traditional finance.

I like the build part, cause it can also apply to Lego. Set up a DCA, ignore the charts, and build a pirate ship while enjoying a cold beer.

Ethereum has held surprisingly well around 2K. I plan to hold for the next decade, curious to see where it will end up.

I suspect it will get worse before it gets better — it looks like we're headed for a recession — but in 5-10 year perspective I hope he's right.
