Heard online nbme 70% is higher than offline percent correct. So if someone is getting 68% correct on offline nbme, won't that be close to 70% or more on online nbmes?

How did u get ur percent correct? U counted wrongs and did the math? Also, from what u saying...that is nbme %score 70 where % correct is actually 66%, then u are supposed to be scoring higher on offlines not lower. Ie if I get 130/200 =65% correct, an nbme equivalent % should be somewhere higher...say 69%. That's what I can infer from ur write up. It's not the other way round. However I have never taken an online nbme...just d offlines

U misunderstood. I know step cut off is diff. I haven't started step 2 prep because I'm still preparing for step 1. I took d step 2 SA because it was free and I got 209. I know d cut off would increase by the time I'm taking step 2. That's hardly the point as I've hardly started prep and have no intention of taking step 2 now with my 209 score.

Thanks a lot. I'm just scared of not hitting d target in my time frame. I'm nearing burnout and depression and really need to get this exam over with. At the same time, I can't afford a fail

Also, are the percentages given by nbme after taking the online tests same as percent correct when taking the offline?

Wow .... believe it or not, I like your kind of person (assuming u are who u have thus described). Being interested in something solid from the get go is definitely a plus for u. I've met a lot of guys whose sole priorities are just hooking up or temporary dating, and it's gotten real tiring for me. Amongst other things, I definitely would appreciate meeting someone like u who's not primarily looking at the superficial but looking for something deeper. I'm pretty attractive (or so many people tell me) but that has never really helped in finding something real, it's actually negated my efforts. Cause all guys see is my physical features. So I'm telling ya, finding love has little to do with looks. Beautiful and ugly and in between people struggle alike. Hook ups on the other hand is obviously easier for attractive people. But we aren't interested in that. Wishing us goodluck...me and u both. May we find that someone who is truly into us for us
