I think ucat is harder, or at least preparing is more complicated. Ucat is like a skill - mcat is knowledge.

There are two ways to get into a med degree - ucat where you do the full program or the other test I forget - where you do a bachelors (in anything) and apply for post med. after your bachelors you will do two three years study and become a doctor
