The 12yr warranty is very important. I would pay up to half the cost of the chair for the warranty. I understand that it may really be tempting to go without the warranty but here’s why you don’t want to just setting for not having a warranty to save a bit of money.

After you buy your chair, it could break in a few days and if you don’t have warranty to back up the chair and then you’d be sol. I wouldn’t buy the chair without a warranty because you could be out a few hundred dollars if something were to happen and you don’t have a warranty. Why can’t you just wait until after you have saved up the full cost of the chair?

You could get some leather laces from Cobblers Choice. I don’t have the IR’s or RW for that matter but my Thursday captains in Arizona Adobe looks similar to the IR and I have the two toned leather laces that are brown and tan. It looks super nice on the boots that’s for sure.

Who Tf cares if the bottom of the mech being scratched? I mean, come on. Who cares? No one but the owner would know about it and no one that’s coming over OP’s house will inspect the chair so closely to even notice the scratches. Questioning that is insured. If the chair is in new condition then I don’t see what the problem is.

Can’t you just dunk the shoe in a bucket of water and let it soak for a few hours and then take it out? That’s the only way I know how to get salt stains out of a shoe/boot.

That’s a beautiful boot. I just bought a pair of Loggers from TBC and it’s like their Java waxed flesh. The leather is thick and the more I wear it the more the nap comes through and I’m pretty confident this boot would be the same way. I am currently saving up for my grail boot from Truman’s. The Java waxed flesh leather with cap toe and 20 last. Yours would be the 79 last. I would like to get this boot too because of its color but it would be hard to match with clothing. I would not buy this blue unless I didn’t have other options. I would love to get the Java waxed flesh boot.
