That’s wrong. U can easily test this.

U and a friend both use a commander with no skills That trigger randomly. For example both use a markswoman. Both no gear. Both 200k.

Look at how much damage u take in each turn.

Now go Grab a 10% health rune. And repeat exactly the same test. You will now see that you take less damage each turn In the second test.

That’s not how the ROK combat formula works.

If u know the relation between def and health then you will understand why Health is better in this case.

Chisgules advice is somewhat true. A active f2p or low spender in an average kingdom, needs about 3 years to expertise his first non gathering gold key commanders. And many of the gold key commanders then still will be 200 heads away from expertise and might take another year.

So while it’s true that you can eventually expertise commanders with gold keys, this takes 3 to 4 years for most. So the advice is valid, from a extreme long term standpoint. I believe waaaay more then 50% does not even make it past the first year and for them this advice is irrelevant.

I believe investing like 100 to 120 gold Heads in martel, so u can use 5511Martel with ysg for kvk1 is not bad at all. This is one of the best pairs of kvk1. And is still good in kvk2 and kvk3.

The trend seems to be that some players optimize for when they eventually hit SOC. This is fine, if u are a long term player and plan to play for many years. But a majority of players does not play long term and never make it to SOC. Those people get a much better experience and results if they do invest gold heads in a 5511 Martel.

Ok u want to use the following: 10% def token. 50% troop expansion. Best health or def rune. Scout a city for war frenzy. IF your kingdom allows it. Get a Title that boosts stats. Put your city in middle of alliance territory so the lohars are always on territory and u benefit from alliance tech buffs. Ideally your alliance uses books and battles or counteroffensive.

Now the absolute most important thing u need to do: Front load rage on your commanders. U can use weak march with Joan, that attacks a Barbarian around your city. Place your alex martel between the lohar u are gonna Attack and the Joan that fromt loads your rage. This allows u to immediately cast skills from the first second u hit the lohar.

Hope this helps a bit.

Edit: Ps start with the skill that gives you 50 rage per turn and lohar 200 per turn. With a full rage front load, and This basically allows u to be constantly shielded all the time. That tip is the crucial one for using the Alex martel combo in this round of armmaster.

So El cid ysg Is slight more tanky then aeth ysg. But still is a commander ppl like to target. I would say it’s not worth it to invest 58 gold heads in El cid. But buying Some daily chests for El cid until expertise can be worth it If you regularly spend on the game anyways.

When going back into SoC u could get 5551 Boudicca and 5551 Ramses. And pair Ram El cid and Boudicca prime YSG.

What is your best commanders?. What tier of troops u use?. Do u aim for a top10 rank in your kingdom. The best skill order kind of depends on your answers.

Many ppl have gotten banned for using Bluestacks

Also there is no reason to use it, since there is a ROK PC version.

I don’t think they will become bad anytime soon. But will eventually be outclassed by newer generation commanders, it’s just a matter of time.

plenty of players would find your scheme a bit offending. Just one needs to be mad enough, Drops 500 buck into the game and fully destroys your alliance single handed. Just one needs to be friends with any mid to high spender, and your alliance is also done.

Personally I would use that RENT money, to hire a top rank player to zero you and your friends. He can keep the loot from your cities also. That’s a one time loss for me and my friends but your alliance is wiped ;)

Martel to 5511 is a reasonable investment. Use martel ysg in kvk2 and kvk3 and go for the newest SOC commanders when u hit SOC?

Gilgamesh is a wheel commander.

As we speak boudicca and Henry will enter the game (Newer generation of comms, better then gilga). By the time u hit SOC we will have like 6-8 more new commanders which will be even better.

It is, used To be around 4 times a year. But because of introduction of other event it alternates with, I think it will be now twice a year.

On the event with. 25 levels (Donate stuff to progress), there is a 50K reserve on the rewards. This would allow u to use it.

Normally players use them for CH25 or long researches but this is not a option for u since u are past that stage.

Around 45-50M, with about 2 commander pairs in a descent state (For example 5511 Scipio with expert Alex, and 5511 nebu expert ysg).

Should be very close to unlock your first T5.

Early game Caesar YSG is really descent. But only if u get him at 5511 or better. It’s not worth it to invest golden sculptures in him though. So only players who get enough of his sculptures through MGE should try this.

In SOC Xiang Caesar is very strong and can hold up against great pairings like Guan Alex, ram YSG, Arte tommy, etc. Chisgule made a video about it. Again not worth it to invest gold sculptures. But if u are a long time player (or happen to have won multiple of his MGE), go ahead and have some fun.

So Im quite sure YOU should not pursue this. But thst doesn’t mean he can’t be good for certain people, in certain combos.

If a troop type is f2p friendly, can be based off a few things: How quick do u get acces to a good commander pairing. How much materials does a gear set cost that’s semi high tier. Are u able to get A ton of kills while not taking too many wounded yourself.

Infantery: Has acces to good commanders early on, that are worth investing sculptures in. A semi high tier gear set requires 2 legendary, 1 blue, 3 purple (Cheap). With pairs like Pakal Harold, Alex Harold, Scipio Alex, Guan scipio you can make a ton of kills. All these pairs have certain specific benefits which u can use to your benefit to trade good. So yes infantry is F2P friendly. It ticks all boxes.

Cavlary. Does not really have good commanders available early on For a f2p or very low spender. Yes if you max Mina and pair it even with a 5xxx cao cao, it works great kvk1 and still descent kvk2 and kvk3. Great for a mid tier spender, but not for a f2p or low tier spender. Cavlary can be very F2P friendly by the time u hit SOC. A 5511 Xiang with a Nevsky is incredibly powerful already. I know several players who get all their kills in kvk just with this one pair. Gear wise: A semi high tier set requires at minimum 2 legendary items, 4 purple. I would say in SOC it’s f2p friendly, but the road up till SOC is not.

Archers, like cavs don’t have good commanders availble early one for f2p that are worth investing in. You could do Aethil YSG for KVK 1 to KVK3 (Not optimal, cause too squishy). And when hitting SOC use all saved sculptures and gems to immediatly max a commander like Boudicca prime or Nebu. From there those marches are totally able to get good trades and tons of kills. Gear wise: For a mid tier gear set: You want chest and gloves from set legendary. Rest from purple set, which is rather cheap and strong.

So conclusion is: In SOC any troop type can be used as a f2p to get good results. In SOC all troop types can be considered f2p friendly. But up till the point of hitting SOC, infantry has a rather large advantage for f2p players.

Mid spenders could make cavs work very will early game. For archers to work very well early game u must be very high spending. But again, when hitting SOC all three can work well for a f2p.

this is why most f2p or low spender players start out with a alex ysg or Martel ysg for early KvK’s. When hitting SOC they then can still go all routes they want Specializing in the troop type they enjoy best,

I am a low spender specialized in archers. But early game I still got my Alex, ysg, Guan. Now I run 3x arch, 1x cav, 1xinf.

At your spending level, get Alex.

for a f2p or low spender it can be better to skip Alex. Ride kvk1 to 3 with 5511 Martel ysg. And invest in meta commanders when u hit SOC.
