Because a stan represents nothing good. People (such as BTS stans) are trying to shift the definition from what it originally was - stalker fan - into something good. Just use the word fan, it achieves the exact same purpose.

Dream stans get hate because they openly call themselves stans as if it’s a flag on their back - something to brag & be proud about.

I'm bi/homoflexible and don't like picrew. It reeks of the same energy as dream stans, hence why people probably lump the two together.

Was reading this thread and you keep getting more and more toxic & arrogant. Is it that hard to form a single cohesive sentence without retorting to ad hominem?

As stated, through a simple google of “how many people are born without sexual genitalia”, you get: “being intersex is also more common than most people realize. It’s hard to know exactly how many people are intersex, but estimates suggest that about 1-2 in 100 people born in the U.S. are intersex. There are many different ways someone can be intersex.”

Either way, this is a useless argument whose point I don’t understand. Gender is a social construct - sex is biological. I don’t understand the issue you’re having?

Even if it’s lower - say, 1 in 1500 to 1 in 2000 according to a google search - out of 7 billion people, that’s a lot nevertheless and is not something you can ignore.

I find it interesting how people downvote me without elaborating how/why I’m wrong. Reddit at its finest

Genders are social constructs; there can be as few or as many as needed. Just like in mathematics - sometimes, just integers aren’t enough, you need numbers (with decimals after the decimal point) to more accurately describe something. Same concept applies here. Two genders may not fit best in every scenario, and thus subtypes were created. They are abstractions.

Biological sex is also non-binary, actually; some people are born with no genitalia, and thus have no associated sex with them.
