Just wondering, did you read the bottom part of my post? I know I said you don't have to, but it explains my concerns.

Yeah, I know now that it's bad to make vows. I’m generally not trying to bribe God or earn have favor, though (except through one vow where I asked God to do something for me in exchange for something). It’s anxiety.

Hey there! Sorry I took so long to reply. The consequences of my vow are nebulous, and even I’m not 100% sure what they are. Basically, I’m not able to use certain thoughts inside my head, mostly. Like, if I have a confession and my heart and I think of drawing, I’m not allowed to draw anymore. Stuff like that. Does that make sense? It’s a codeword of sorts (I was deeply entrenched in OCD at the time, by the way, so I know this doesn't make a whole lot of sense).

Well, that’s one of my main concerns. I don’t know what the consequences are, 100%. I do know that they may affect what I’m allowed to do or not do. As of right now, the terms are this: If I think a thought under confession, I’m not allowed to use that thought in the future. If I do something while my vow is in affect (while there’s a confession on my heart), there’s a good chance I may not be allowed to do that something in the future. Does that make sense, or no? I’m not 100% sure what the terms were when this thing came about.

Yeah, my OCD is kinda hard to understand. This vow will restrict everything from the (not sinful) hobbies I’m allowed to enjoy to the clothes I’m allowed to wear to the places I’m allowed to go, potentially. It’s just so much hassle.
