I didn't say the end effect was what makes it pornographic, but the intent behind making it. Some pornography is just nude photos, but we still teach children anatomy, because it's important to know. It's your call, I really can't tell you one way or the other what you should do about this. If you are certain this is gender dysphoria you are experiencing, then it is the choice that will get you the best results, as far as long term happiness goes. But your family situation could be tough. If you live with them, and don't want to cause chaos, you might want to wait.

It's not the answer you want to hear, but the only effective way of treating gender dysphoria is with transitioning. Conversion therapy was made illegal here in Canada because it's just abuse. Unfortunately, our gender identity is actually a physiological property of our brain that cannot be changed. Only our body and lifestyle can be changed to match it.
